Exactly, and Brown as I said in my post I believe PP had planned them then put them on hold when they split between Viacom and CBS. The most Paramount had to do with this coaster was accepting the meeting to discuss the idea. And that might be a stretch because for any type of planning beyond the initial meeting would have included land surveys around swan lake and behind Crypt. There has not been anything indicating Paramount was involved in any type of planning stages.

Well if you actually stood at the end of the line to see every person, everyday, and get their review of how the ride was, that is complicated. If you did not do that, you are just giving information of what you wanted to see. And the accident is talking about the ride in general. How can anyone form an opinion, but not have all the facts? Yes, it is the tallest wooden roller coaster. Yes, it is the fastest wooden roller coaster. Yes, it caused multiple injuries due to a design flaw.

He's going with the glass is half full theory. But he could be correct. Only because, people/ families could be inclined to spend their money closer to home as opposed to traveling a great distance. Most of the CF parks are rather close to larger cities.

I do not use the entire deer. But I do bring the deer to a local Amish processor that processes the meat for me, and uses the rest of the deer for themselves. It is about 1/2 the cost of a normal processor, I get more meat, and the Amish don't like to waste anything.

I still have a hard time believing that an alternative site cannot be found. This will be a court battle in the end. And CF is going to take a stance where if they get hurt financially due to this stadium, it lets them out of the lease and. Then where will Santa Clara be? They will be holding onto property developed as an amusement park, as well as, holding onto a debt from the stadium. Yeah, that makes sense.

While you can have your own opinion, you have still not gave us another reasonable & cost-effective solution to control the animal population. You did mention sterilization before, but that is not only not cost-effective, it is also not a reality. The animal would have to be caught by using a net, cage, or tranqilizer dart. According to your previous comments, I cannot see how you could support those methods. And even if one of those methods were to be acceptable, surgery could not be done because once the animal was released the stitches could be ripped out of the animal and it could bleed to death, or an infection could occur, and the animal would die anyway. I don't see how a birth control pill can be used since it needs to be taken everyday. And if you sterilize all the animals, how can they reproduce so that their species continues to live? Now lets's talk about food sources. If a reasonable solution cannot be found to control the population, then the animals will be multiplying at an enormus rate. What will they eat? We could not let them die of starvation, so now each citizen is responsible for feeding wildlife that has now come into their neighborhoods. And the state can't help out financially due to the loss of hunting license revenue, so now each individual citizen must pay to feed the wildlife. Also, since we cannot hunt anymore, farmers' crops have now been eaten by the excess animals which then will hurt people financially since the cost of food will be skyrocketing. When the animals go looking for more food, they will be crossing roadways. This will increase the amount of auto accidents and fatalities caused by animals. Since insurance companies only charge the comprehensive deductable when you hit the animal, the rest of the cost then comes from other drivers' insurance policies. Again, more cost. If the driver avoids the animal, and either control of their car and is involved in a one car accident, or, hits another vehicle, the potential for a fatality increases dramatically. I could go on and on, but I'm sure you get the point. The money collected from hunting license revenue directly benefits wildlife & education. Without that money, not only will it hurt wildlife, it will also hurt continuing education for generations to come. So by eliminating hunting, your belief is that those equal & innocent animals will be saved. But by also eliminating hunting you have hurt your family & neighbors financially as well as sacrificed animals to starvation. Now please explain the reasonable alternatives to hunting.

Cortney, you crack me up with your titles. When I first read your title, I interpreted it as "I am full of **** hehehe" (aka: a certain smelly human waste product). I could not understand why someone would admit to that.

There are too many variables that go into why a line is long or not. How many trains are operating? Is the crew hitting their intervals? Are full trains being sent out? Are the guests familiar with the restraints? Does the ride have small, but periodic, downtime issues? Actually while I was waiting the hour in line for SoB. As we watched the trains, the train in the station would be released at the same time the other train was at a certain point. And, the ACTUAL LINE was long, as in there were a lot of people going on SoB, not just the wait time. Ok. Now compare SoB's 2 train operation of 24 people per train with Beast and it's 3 train operation of 36 people per train. Since SoB had a longer line does that make it the more popular of the 2 rides?

I really don't think that what happened on SoB in '06 can be compared to the incident at SFKK at all. It is clearly stated that the SoB incident could not have been foreseen. And while the final report on the SFKK incident is not even close to being complete, it appears that this accident had a very good chance of being prevented.

When I first read the title, I thought it had to do with the ground actually being softer or wetter on the weekends compared to the weekdays. Which would then lead the discussion to how much Vortex has sunk since it opened.

Those reasons I gave for a long/ short line don't deal with capacity, yet they affect capacity. And the hourly capacity, again, is affected by the reasons that were previously stated. Think of it this way: if there was only one train operating on FH and the queue was filled with a potential 3 hour wait, and FoF had 3 trains operating with a 20 minute wait, does that mean FH is more popular than FoF?

If SoB can operate consistantly in 2008, then you can call it reliable. It has only been operating with the renovations and new trains for just over half a season. And in all reality, how long you wait for a ride is not a good gauge on how popular a ride is.

Last Friday the park closed early due to a combination of low attendance and bad weather. It was nothing scheduled.
