  1. Exactly what I was thinking. And everyone might want to get used to Peanuts. What's going to happen when the Nick licensing runs out?
  2. ^ You are basing that opinion off of what information?
  3. ^ Yeah. 3 cameras at CP vs. 12 (??) at KI. F-O-R-E-V-E-R at CP.
  4. ^CP's processing days really don't do diddly poo. Most of the pass holders live over an hour away, which makes the first few weeks of the season absolute chaos trying to get your pass processed. Well over an hour about the first 3 weekends. About 1/2 hour during the week.
  5. ^^ Bodda, I'm not doubting your information, but if Paramount spent that kind of money in the few years that TR has been around, then TR is nothing more than another SoB (at least until this past summer ). Costs are outrageous, ride shows up on occasion.
  6. This looks like a lot of fun! http://travel.latimes.com/daily-deal-blog/?p=1202 IMO, more parks need this type of ride.
  7. This could actually open space up in the park through consolidation of many buildings located within the gates of the main park. They could build a new building in the Eastern end of the peninsula before the parking toll booths.
  8. As discussed here: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=11746
  9. I must have missed that one. Do you have access to that advertisment?
  10. ^ As well as how fast the ride ops are moving. If they are hitting all of the intervals, they could still be sending out full trains, yet the queue line could be virtually non-existant.
  11. http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=10678 Another topic about the same thing. Also, how long a line is does not signify how popular a ride is.
  12. ^ Sure does. But I'm not sure if the 2008 prices are the same as 2007 with the 25% discount. In December passes were $59 at SFGa and if SFA is your home park, passes were $37. For an enthusiast, it's a no brainer. For a company in financial trouble, it is still way underpriced.
  13. Sometimes if you don't air out the dirty laundry, the stink tends to stick around for awhile. But with any luck, this will clean up the clothes.
  14. Of coarse it's going to be red. Two things that you can always count on CF for: 1) Red coasters 2) Crazy amount of garbage cans
  15. ^ Honestly, it's going to have to completely off the wall to get rid of the "Defending the Rumor" quote. Nobody has got there yet. But someone is trying very hard!
  16. You have seen some pretty crappy treatment? Geez, I wonder why. Perhaps it has to do with your agressive style of portraying your opinion? Lets take a look at some examples:
  17. It's fuuny how the report mentions the brisk season pass sales, but fails to mention how cheap they are.
  18. That is just it. Any park that I have been to has controlled the sale of alcohol like the Soup Nazi. Where the few folks in Arlington get the idea that alcohol sales are going to harm public safety and get kids run over in parking lots is rather unbelievable. And nowadays, with the liability that comes with alcohol sales, any establishment, needs to keep it under control for fear of lawsuits. On a side note; both BGA and BGE have had the most lax rules on alcohol that I have seen as they allow you to bring your frosty beverage into the queue lines.
  19. At this point, it does not look like Villain will be sold. Even if a park would decide to purchase it right now, the work necessary for: the deconstruction, prepping the land, electric, the rest of the minor essentials, reconstruction and ordering and recieving new trains, it would be ready for the 2009 season. That also means after over one year of sitting the value of the ride would drop as well. Not that it is not possible, but, it would be a small miracle for anyone to ever ride Villain again. And some really would not care, it was not one of those rides that you would be willing to drive an hour just to ride it.
