  1. ^ Something like that. Quiznos has been opening an absurd amount of stores over the last 3 to 4 years. Each franchise costs about $300,000, about 10% of your sales goes back to Quiznos, and you have to purchase all your food, supplies, and equipment from Quiznos. And over 60% end up failing for various reasons, the biggest reason being that they are overpriced compared to Subway. Well even though the business fails, the owners still have to pay Quiznos the $300,000.
  2. The last Bubba Gump just opened October 27th, 2007, and was announced in July 2007. The only reasons for not allowing more at this point could be a water-down effect. Much like the current Quizno's issue happening.
  3. I would think that unless CF does not want to have Bubba Gump as a franchise, it would stay the way it is now. And since it appears that CF would rather have a franchise (TGI Fridays, Famous Dave's, Chick-fil-a, Johnny Rockets, Panda Express etc.) there is a good chance it will stay.

  5. http://www.kswo.com/Global/story.asp?S=7615502 Two 10lbs. rabbits a week? I would love to watch that!
  6. Hopefully this will help: http://gprime.net/flash.php/postingandyou Just replace "Billy" with "Jackson" and it may be easier to understand.
  7. I guess it is a good thing that I mentioned my figures may be incorrect. But that would still make it lucrative to those in Saim.
  8. Well the same could be said for many things: That would be the first thing that came to my mind...
  9. So why didn't the families in Siam file in court as well? Or is it because they didn't have to file since the park had nothing to fight?
  10. Dora and Diego are on MUCH more than that. About 2 hours per day actually.
  11. POT! THE KETTLE IS CALLING!
  12. It was just settled in December, in court no less, as to which company would be inspecting the cable from the SFKK incident. That took six months to decide. And still the family is struggling financially. The accident in Siam happened two days ago, and money to be dispersed has already been determined? Yeah, we have a lot to learn when it come down to accidents in the US.
  13. ^ This time of year? At night? I find that really hard to believe. Chances are someone hit the light switch by accident.
  14. Unless my figures are incorrect, $1 US = appoximately $33 Baht. That is $16,500,000. Talk about a fast, and lucrative, settlement. Even if that amount is incorrect, it is too bad that insurance companies as well as the court system drag their feet when it comes down to claims in the US.
  15. If you purchased a home or signed a lease on an apartment, it's new to you. Does it really make a difference if it was lived in before you or not? I'm waiting for the negative comments about CP's additions since most were from GL.
  16. ^ That's funny. Even though I don't agree with his comment of kids under the age of 10 waiting for a ride at the end of the night. I honestly hope that to be an exagerration. My oldest daughter will be 7 in April, and I would not consider letting her go off with friends in the park even if I was at the park, let alone dropping her off. What those people in Arlington need to realize is that people are not going to be treating SF like a corner bar. They did not pay admission to get into the park for the right to sit at a bar and consume overpriced beer. Even when I go to parks, the only time that I will sit at a bar is usually at the hotel during the kids snack/ wash-up time, or after the park has closed (or when my wife was doing her duty and feeding the kids, but that was years ago). And those places are outside the park. (My favorite place would be TGI Fridays at Hotel Breakers on the beach at CP. Try an Ultimate Long Island Tea!)
  17. The ride does not appear on their website. http://www.waterworldcalifornia.com/ Article on incident: http://www.cnn.com/US/9706/03/water.slide/
  18. Stopping 70 teens from doing this stunt is like stopping college students from rushing the basketball court after a big win. It unfortunately takes a tragic accident to prove that some records should not attempt to be broken.
  19. So CF will fix SoB by removing a major element add purchasing new trains, but they are too cheap to fix TR? Yeah, that makes sense. And then it will be torn down by '09, if it's not fixed by then? Well if they were too cheap, it would not be fixed at all, so then it will be torn down by '09. Right? Go troll somewhere else.
  20. ^ Absolutely nothing wrong with investigative journalism. Bring up all the waterpark fatalities, not just the ones owned by a specific group and do the math. Is there a need to have national safety standards for waterparks from the stats attained, or are the parks policing themselves accordingly? This particular incident really had nothing to do with waterpark safety because it was an isolated event, and the reasons why it happened are rather clear. Now the SFKK incident is on the other end of the spectrum. So far there is a rather frayed cable and a ride op that could not hit an E-Stop in time. Fault certainly does not fall on the shoulders on the young girl, but with the park itself.
  21. What makes you believe that? Or are you just making up stuff again to hear yourself talk?
