Hey House- Do you not realize that Bodda is a moderator here? If he allows someone to post information illegally, then the park can cut ties with KI Central. If that were happen, events like KI Central hosted this summer will not happen again. There is absolutely nothing different with tresspassing illegally and taking on ride photos illegally. Parks do not take kindly to such things. And as for my signature. It's due to people like you that it was added. Go troll somewhere else.

There is absolutely no reason for a jacka$$ statement like that House. Bodda has a good relationship with the park. There is no reason to jeopordize that due to someone that quite possibly could be breaking the law by tresspassing and then flaunting it here. It was a simple question. And one that was answered. If you want to be a jerk, go do it somewhere else.

That could be due to any type of construction, which happens every off-season. It could be a new building, new cement being poured, a new game being installed, new bathrooms or anytype of renovation. I would not consider this to be any type of Earth shattering news or events.

I was stating something that was my opinion, hence the IMO, and I used a word that: 1) I had no idea if it was a word and 2) Really didn't care to find out since, even if it was not a word, many would still understand where I was coming from. And the funny thing is, I even explained why I felt the park was cheapened, which again had nothing to do about you. I am not really sure why you would even think that I was trying to make you feel dumb. As you can see from my previous posts, I am not one to pull punches and say exactly how I feel. What is really too bad was that out of my entire post, the only thing you seemed to understand was something that you believed was about you, and in reality had nothing to do about you. Given those facts, I don't have to make you seem dumb. You are doing it all on your own.

The atmosphere changed during Paramount's regime due to many things. IMO, they "cheapened" (?? is that even a word ) the park by promoting some rather terrible movies (Drop Zone, Face Off, Congo etc.) not only with ride names, but with movie posters around the park. Sure, it was their park and they could do what they wanted, but if you are going to have a theme park based to movies, do it the right way, not half-a$$ed. I will always compare KI to BGE. BGE is fantastic. From the themeing, to how clean everything is, to the music in the different areas; words really can't describe how much detail went into their themeing. You can tell from the moment you walk into the park how nice it really is. KI could have been that way with Paramount, and the funny thing is, KI was just as nice as BGE back in the 70's & 80's. That is the atmoshere Paramount took away. And when it comes down to ride names; how many rides have been called Vortex or Top Gun, Drop Zone etc.? The industry has been reusing ride names for decades, Paramount and CF certainly are not the only ones that have done it. I just don't see the importance in a ride name to the degree that some have discussed. A good ride name is not going to make my day at the park any better or any worse. Now the only ride name change that I have been disappointed with was the change from Beastie to FOC. Even though Beast is not like today's coasters, back in 1979 The Beast was the best coaster. And Beastie was the park's way to let the smaller folk enjoy the "aura" of what Beast really is.

The banking of the track was probably the biggest issue of many issues that The Bat had. Just take a close look at the video, specifically where the line of vision is in line with the direction of the track going around a turn and you can see how the track is horizontal to the ground and compare it to some of the pictures of FD.

I'm confused. When you go to another park that is not a movie theme park, or a former movie theme park, do you still get the same "cheaped-out feel"?

I am just talking about removing/ hindering scenery for a ride. Adding to the equation only complicates things.

The American dollar is almost equal to the Canadian dollar now. The difference is a few pennies either way. 7 years ago $1 US = $1.54 Canadian.

Before we pass judgement on CF's decision to add a coaster and remove scenery, we should probably let the coaster become reality first. And if they happen to add a coaster and take away from the scenery at KI, think back to 1989. CF added one of the better coasters of the last 20 years. And they just happened to stick the coaster directly on the beach of one of the largest fresh water lakes in the World. I have heard that this coaster is sinking. but I have never heard anyone say that the trade of the lake scenery for the ride was not worth it. I am also willing to bet that if BLSC was more like Maverick, many would not complain about where Paramount decided to located that coaster or that they took out scenery for the ride as well.
