I bet that the real construction will start once the park is completely closed for the season. That way, maintenance and the contractors have free run of the park. Mod Edit: No spamming the forums.

My season ended a long time ago, well late Sept. so I will be enjoying my new life down here in Bowling Green until that time when Im FINALLY out of this prison that they call a dorm room.

Why would PKI enter the coaster race? In all honesty, PKI has its niche in Ohio right now in the family park. Thats why we arent seeing a lot of big name coasters at PKI being built. PKI, in recent years, is gearing right where there is a gaping hole in the industry, enough big rides to encourage teens and adults, and enough kiddie rides to entice the parents to come. So why keep building these big coasters?

Well, just think of response times, Matt, from getting from your shop to, shall we say, DZ, if those roads were closed and you had to use the parking lot cut through. Yeah, you know what I mean.

. There isnt enough room for `tiques between AE/FOF/Racer. Basically you have racer/maintenance road/FOF/maintenance road/AE/SOB/Gun. Thats about it. As for room, you MIGHT have a hillside or two in there somewhere. But realistically, we need those roads. Thats the only way we can get to that side of the park.

NO, I wasnt referring to the sim ride, Therickster said that PKI should not have done the 9/11 tribute. Thats what Im all over.

Alright, maybe a national holiday was a little harsh. But you know what, saying that you shouldnt remember those CIVILIANS who died (not one soldier was killed on Sept. 11) is just wrong. I dont care if its at a national landmark, or at a theme park, EVERYONE should do a tribute, no matter if its the local liquor store down the street.

Actually copyczar, the restraints close whenever the operator in the booth tells them to. The gate controls are on load side, and the restraint controls are in the booth.

At the same time, wouldnt it be nice to be in the movies in the park, and maybe theme the hotel to a hunting lodge of sorts as a break. That would be cool as well.

Hold the phone: 9/11 changed not just America, but the world forever. I dont care where it is, or whats going on, but 9/11 should be a national holiday. PKI didnt do the tribute because it was "entertaining" they did the tribute because it is something that all of us, no matter of race, creed, or nationality, should remember. What PKI did was something that every other theme park should do, remember those lost for freedom. Dont EVER say that anyone shouldnt honor these people. That statement made me sick.

I agree. Leave WWII alone. Plus if tradition stands, theres still what, another 2 years of SB left?

I just want to point something out: even if you get a mass amount of people to buy this stuff, you arent going to save the flyers. From what I have gathered, its a corporate decision, and nothing will change that decision. Nice try tho.
