Will there be construction pictures? Yes. When will you see them? You'll just have to keep checking the site to see!

Wings will stay unchanged for next season, and so will WWC. The sign was taken down because the ride was shut down early. That way people would know that the ride was closed. The only food stand that won't be the same for next year is Tucker's. Will it be completely gone, or will it be rethemed, who knows? As for 2006, anything can happen then, so I wouldn't be surprised if Wings was gone too.

To clear everything up, the PKIU boards are TEMPORARILY offline because we are switching servers, if we kept the boards open while we did this then all the posts from now until the switch finalizes would be erased and lost forever. The PKIU boards will open back up when PKI Unlimited has fully switched to the nexigen servers. When will that happen, well first we need Aaron to change the DNS info so that it will point to our servers, then the change can occur. The PKIU boards will be back up in a (hopefully) short amount of time, but nonetheless, they will be back up.

Well, Magic of the Movies isn't coming back but Tuned In is. Did you enjoy these shows and are you happy/sad to see Magic of the Movies go and Tuned In stay?

Or maybe he's just a lazy ass. Yeah, I think that's it.

Well, unlike most people, I don't always think with money in mind. -

Oh yeah, not only am I the one that pays the bills, I'm the one that calls the shots even though I haven't been involved in the community in a while. But I'm back for good and you can only expect the best from PKI Central now! -
Todd, I completely agree with you and I think that's the best way anyone could put it.

New! Buy a "Save The Flyers" button! This is for those of you who cannot afford a t-shirt or just want to show your support in a different way than purchasing a shirt. This button is very low-coast and again we make no profit. So get a button and where it proudly on Sunday when we say goodbye to the Flying Eagles. Click Here to purchase a button.

Correction: No one knows for sure how exactly the fire started or who started except the group that was in the erosion cloth at the time the fire started. The workers on Psycho Path came up with the conclusion that someone might have used a cigarette lighter to see where they were going, because we see many people use their lighters to do this. Psycho Path was open on Sunday, and will be open during the rest of Fearfest, but just without the erosion cloth section now. If you keep your lighters and cell phones inside your pockets and just follow the lights, you will be fine.

Show your love of the Flying Eagles by purchasing a "Save The Flyers" t-shirt from the PKIC shop. This is a non-profit item, which means PKI Central.com makes no money from your purchase of this shirt. If you choose to buy one of these shirts, you can stand up and show Paramount's Kings Island that you want the Eagles to stay where they belong. Some of you make think this shirt is ridiculous, but a ride that has stayed in this area for over 70 years deserves respect. So pay your tributes to the Flying Eagles by purchasing a shirt. It would look great to wear on October 17 for the final ride. Click Here to buy a "Save The Flyers" t-shirt.

Worst...Decision...Ever! This is just plain horrible. Let's look at the Paramount way of thinking...let's take out two very classic and unique rides, and put in just one coaster, that is a clone and probably will be a scaled-down version of a Universal/Disney type ride. The theming will whither away in the first three years, and then we have a dinky rollercoaster that only goes 40 mph. Great choice!!! While we're at it, let's take out more classic rides like Kings Island did when Carl Linder was the owner and when the park was at it's worst it has ever been in. Now trust me, when I say this, if Paramount continues to do this, it will turn out to be very bad in the end for PKI. I think they just don't know what they are doing. If you slap a movie name on a ride it doesn't make it any better.

Well since we'll be having a meeting day for the people of PKIC, I thought it would be best if you guys voted on when we should make it. I have set up a poll in this thread: PKIC Meeting Day Poll
-
Don't worry about saying we should have it on the last day of operation, because we are already planning that. We hope to have two meeting days by the end of this year, and maybe even another meet-up day during the offseason.

The next Xtended Play scheduled for this Friday has been canceled, and by the looks of it, will most likely never be rescheduled. More information on this will be soon to come.

No. Think of what happened on September 11, 2001. That's the main reason PKI added metal detectors. Fear of terrorism, plain and simple.

Paramount's Kings Island continues to bring Hollywood to the Midwest with the announcement of their much-anticipated new marquee. Modeled after one of the most recognizable images in Hollywood, the new marquee resembles the famous Bronson Gates that grace the entrance to the Paramount Pictures Movie Studio in Hollywood, CA. When complete in late summer, the elaborate new sign will stand over 80 feet tall and reach 49 feet wide. In addition, the sign has 40-foot tall Corinthian columns and iron gates spanning 13 feet in height and 30 feet in length. The first visible signs of the new marquee include two large, red supports that are erected in the parking lot where the former marquee stood since 1978. The original Paramount's Kings Island landmark was destroyed last September during an early morning storm. Registered members can vote on wether they like the sign or not here. Remember the survey PKI gave out asking teens if they would like exclusive activities just for them. Well they said yes and PKI listened, here is what it is: Witness the hottest DJ's around as they headline exclusive Xtended Play events at Paramount's Kings Island on select Fridays, this June and July. Nationally known DJs will compete in a mix off, and guests 16 years and older can dance until midnight or enjoy full access to the Park! Click Here to check out more about this exciting new event!

It has now been confirmed that Days Of Thunder will be playing in the side B of Action F/X Theatre. The park has even installed a nice new sign for the ride too.

Just to let you know, those Bat stickers are for the coaster at PCW called The Bat, not PKI's The Bat. Those items are still a good find!
