Is Kings Island going to be better this year?
This is going to be my greatest year ever at the park! Im so extremely excited to get to work there and meet new friends and make peoples days even better when they visit the park! And of course as a guest, who can forget about the 14 coasters? Not me, haha, bring on Firehawk!

Lightening Strike Law Suit
I personally dont blame the guy or his family, I really have no clue what I or my family would do in that situation and whether or not we would have pursued the same course. It is extremely hard to say. I for one would not go touching metal in a storm, but your car is supposed to be the safest place in lightning, so I don't know. Its funny, you can always trash lawyers...until you need one.

what is the most missed ride?
Oh, c'mon, beer showers at the baseball games and stuff are fun! Of course so are: Icees, Rootbeer, Pepsi, lemonade, iced Tea, Coke, Mountain Dew, Slice, 7UP, Dr. Pepper, Sierra Mist, Sports drinks! I like the Lemonade showers best, and my runner-up is Pizza! Gotta love the slice that accidentally falls off the kid's plate, while hes bouncing that ball!

what is the most missed ride?
The Flying Eagles The ride sits on a center pivot point, many arms come out of this center point. Then you have tubs that are connected to these arms by wires. There was typically a rudder at the front of the tub allowing you to move in close to the center while you swung or mover further away as you swung. Many enthusiasts rate this type of ride based on how they "snap" that is to say, get the tub going one way and then pull it the other so quick that the wires tension up, and you hear a 'thud'. They are great fun rides!

Question for the natives...
Don't ever say never on the theming bit! Where there is a will and ingenuity most anything can be accomplished, especially in business. Where preperations and successes are nothing more than applied logic and guidelines. There would be a way to offer theming at a regional park, the means just have to be determined and the ends experienced. The right business model, and ideas and sooner or later you will see more theming at your regionals. Many, many years ago, they said we wouldnt get to space...last I checked we did that. (Im not even touching the whole moon landing thing, lol, cause someone will argue). The point is, Never and impossible are words that have meant nothing in Humanity's history, but the beginning of great things to prove them wrong. These two words are very important in that they are constantly challenged and that is what keeps life Changing! I believe that theming will take a more important role in all parks in the future, especially when most of us, the paying customers, like theming! If you can dream it, you can theme it!

Kings Island Tempts Taste Buds in 2007
I second that I love some Coney dogs from Skyline! especially the second day when they are cold from the fridge!

Soft Drinks 2007
I tink dare is a tree beer limit at da Dragons games doncha know! In other words price could discourage intoxication a little, but the park wouldnt make money on the alcohol like they do by discouraging people to buy so I doubt thats the case. Especially when you can do what the Dragons and Reds do and halt beer after a certain inning and limit the beers as well. But that would also limit profit now that I think about it, wow, funny world that we live in.... Id Like an extra large burger and Fries and a extra large DIET Coke please! Then again some people just like the taste of Diet Coke and Pepsi rather than non-diet. Wow I have just been struck with an intense evaluation of humanity's hypocrisies...Im gonna get out of here before I hurt myself or someone else with words, lol

Maverick Testing Photos
I'd say so! Do they realize that the webcam is automated and that they cant tell the speed of the train just froma few webcam pics? I think when they are refering to the speed they are talking about what they have seen on the live "video" webcam at www.funcoast.com/funcam. On this camera it is possible to see the speed of the train, because it is taking constant pictures instead of just updating every 60 seconds. They are still pretty nerdy for commenting on a coaster run in a webcam...if they really want to be cool they should go all John Madden and circle some stuff Telestrator anyone? lol, now that would make their comments more, well, no actually still pretty lame!

What are you looking forward to most?
Ok everyone, so Kings Island's official weekends-only operation starts in less than 11 days, and I know many of us are getting excited! While most threads have focused on past memories, or what you would do to change the park in the future, I propose perhaps a simpler more joyful question. What are you looking forward to most this year? Or, I pose even a more priceless question. What memories will you create at Kings Island in 2007? As for me, I am looking forward to my first year as an employee on Italian Job:Stunt track and meeting new friends along the way. I also can't wait to experience late night fireworks from The Beast's lift, and perhaps a new area, the top of the Eiffel Tower. I cant wait for the air to be filled with the smell of Funnel cakes, and the musty fog of FearFest, under the moonlit evening. Or even the sudden rush of air on Racer, the out of control feeling of The Beast through the tunnels and the deafening roar of the trains. From the zero-G's on Vortex to the thrill of flight on Firehawk, to the hot muggy night of July 4th celebrations. Ah, the great experiences of spending a day at the amusement park, very few moments can compare, especially when surrounded by friends and family; the love and warmth that their companionship brings to a day and a night that is filled with fun, and unforgettable moments. These will be my memories, what will be yours?

Geauga Lake Removes Two Roller Coasters
Yah I just wanted to make sure the members know that Im not one of these members who just throws stuff out there to get people riled up. When Im wrong I admit it and when Im right I prove it! You know, some people on here get a bad rap for false information, I dont want to be one of those members, hence why my posts are always so long and laden with logic and support. But thanks for the support anyways I am so glad that Wyandot lake is going to be such a big part of the Columbus Zoo's plans for years to come, it deserves it! I just still am having a little trouble grasping how much their plans have changed since last I had heard, lol, I deffinately like this idea alot better! oh and uh, haha, Will Wolfe if you are reading this, thanks!
