Although I agree that this was done on purpose, not many people outside of some of us enthusiasts on this site and others truly know the difference between a themepark and an amusement park! As sad as that is, I have heard the terms interchanged between the Likes of Disney, Universal, KI, and Cedar Point. Im sure some of you have experienced the same as well

I would be all for flying eagles again as well, it would be fun to ride them and look off that platform and see above all the patrons in coney mall. However...and I have no sources, I had heard in late October that under Paramount, Kings Island would be getting a Jump Squared (Jump 2). Once again this is not any insider info, I have no exact idea of what could be going on, I simply heard some chatter about this being Paramount's addition this year. I guess we will see April 21st! If this was Paramounts plan I wonder if CF would follow through in addition to X-flight, im not so sure that they would!

I dont think that you will see anything...but that could explain why Kings Island has not issued a complete press release for this season like Dominion and Carowinds have!.....Hmmmm

Its funny Everyone here is talking about the line to Top Gun, but nobody is mentioning quite possibly the longest line in the park, I introduce to you White Water Canyon. Not only does the line go back for miles, but you get half way through it and all of a sudden traffic is stopped and your creeping! Now personally, I like the walks, they keep the paths clear on hot summer days when you really dont want to be surrounded by wall to wall bodies when getting to the next ride. Id also rather have a long walk to a ride rather than a long wait....your are making treks all day, might as well have it benefit you and have a (seemingly) short wait!

One of the benefits I would think of painting it when it is assembled is that you shouldnt have to "turn pieces over"! If you think about it, once all of the track is assembled it will be off the ground, and you can get every nook and cranny. Also, when you paint a house you dont take it apart. But, to equate Firehawk to a model you paint all the pieces then put the model together, but you have to wait for one side of each piece to dry before painting the other side, if the model isnt complex than you just put it together and paint what you have to!

I looked at some of those photos, that is really awesome that you get to live out some of our greatest dreams! good luck with your internship!

Seeing how the track is still a Firehawk Icecicle, I dont see painting anytime soon anyways!

ha, I completely understand that...much in the same way that I like the feeling of Beast at Kings Island, But I love the out-of-control, gonna fly out feeling of Gwazi at SFOG! Beast is my favorite coaster though!

I personally like the B&M at SFG, I thought that the ride was one of the smoothest coaster rides that Ive ever had! Also, it is a fun ride and the restraints are IMO very comfortable!

ahh, so will pedestrians be able to look down on top of some of the ride from the "top step" then? Wow, its taken forever to get to my 200th post, lol

So....why exactly is there going to be a retaining wall? what is it that we are trying to......retain?? anyone know?

And, most of us regardless of it being a "used" ride or a "new" ride completly agree! Now I wish this season would hurry up and start!
