  1. I say that we all start a group of "Enthusiasts dedicated to put the 'Coney' back in Coney Mall"! I'll get right on top of it
  2. Exactly!
  3. ugh, Festhaus, we love to hate it, but it has so much history indeed!
  4. Part of me agrees and the other part doesnt, I would leave only a couple, I hate the site of the things. They used to have a whole vending machine row lining a path at Columbus Zoo many years ago, they have sense done away with all of them but a handful in strategic locations. The thing I do like about them, is that I didnt feel like walking down to subway to get a bottle of water, and I didnt want any water out of the drinking fountain, so It was right there and I attempted to buy an overpriced bottle of Dasani Water to quench my thirst. Of course that ended in me getting that Vault. You are right, they are inefficient too! I just changed my mind, Take the things out! I think?
  5. Actually it isnt as clearly defined as you state in your post, you are right there are misters and foggers. But there are a variety of actual foggers, some use a special chemical that once mixed with blown heat creates a smoky effect! and some just blow on Dry ice. Then there are misters that condense water vapor and then through some internal workings spit it back out. And then you have the cheapest of all misters that just spit out water from a hose at extremel high pressure through a tiny grated hole. I had to get some of this stuff for a school project, lol
  6. Looks like just another big water-slide to me
  7. If you use the dry ice style fog than there is a chance for some misting damage to electronics/track, I would say. But they have that new artificial stuff, and I cant see how that would hurt a ride. I do know that it can get expensive.
  8. You guys are right it was last year at the start of the season that I had my very first Vault out of a vending machine back by the restrooms near FX theater. I hate the stuff. And actually it just occured to me that I didnt even want it, I had pushed the button for a bottle of water and It gave me Vault!
  9. Cypress Gardens has an ice show in a nearly identical facility, its not bad but not the greatest show that i have ever seen. The water skiing show which they are known for though was spectacular!
  10. I completely agree, a Villains theme park could be done really nice, think of all the posibililties...Ursela, Jaffar, witch in Snow White, just tons of things that could be done, you could even tie in some villains from the real life movies that they have done over time.
  11. Yick Vault is the nastiest thing that I have ever drank! you get three tastes with Vault, as it first enters your mouth, you taste Orange Juice, then as it moves down you get a lemon lime flavor, then your throat starts to burn, and finally you are left with this Nyquil after-taste, yick! I love Mt Dew and Pepsi Products. Problem is, I dont drink pop much anymore. But Coke does offer more incentives and a cheeper price to their carriers.
  12. on the Top Gun reference...Cedar Fair will not have to remove the Top Gun movie references...the trademark for the movies name expired long ago, and I believe That all previously owned intellectual property can be kept by the new tenents.
  13. I concur it does matter when you visit, but not all that much, as long as it isnt sunday after church, or on a Bring a friend Free day, the ride waits arent all that long at all...comparitively to other parks. Scooby's Ghoster Coaster?? seriously, were talking about Scooby's ghoster coaster?? Scooby's Ghoster Coaster??
  14. Coasterdad, you obviously havent visited PKI very often...anyone that goes there day after day during the summer or 5 times at least knows that sometimes even on saturdays you can walk right on most of the rides. Out of the many many times that I visited the park I only had to wait in a 45 minute plus line probably 3 times, and even then it was only like on two rides at the park. I can knock out every ride at KI, riding some rides multiple times in under 5 hours. Thats 10 plus coasters plus multiple flat rides in under 5 hours! The park is never really "empty" but the ride ops at KI know how to keep things moving and the infrastructure at KI is very nice. So X-Flight is a welcome addition, It may have an hour wait to start off like Italian Job did (I dont usually ride IJ:ST because of this long line for a short ride) but not much more than that!
  15. No prob, can somebody get this fool out of here?? or banish him back to the bridge where he came from? I guess there is always that one person...
  16. I agree with TopGun and btw, Tycoon hasnt said anything negative to harm the park or exibited any ideas to us rather than his own original ideas of the park. It is posting inside info that can get you busted, but nothing these days is completely confidential, they almost hope sometimes that info leaks, because it builds tension and a great following!
  17. nobody knows. If someone wants to give me a dollar for gas, I'll go down there and snap some pics!
  18. Rockin Roller Coaster at MGM is amazing! It may rival the mummy in theming, and its a TON smoother, no knee jerk stopping!
  19. Purple and School Hallway White is school hallway white REALLLY white or kinda yellowy? Depends on how new/old the school is. 2000-up school? Super white. 1999-back? Smoker's teeth Yellow. ....that should be a new Crayola color, Smoker's Teeth. HAHA, harsh, but so true. I would like to see the coaster in anything that is not to vibrant, I dont wanna see bright yellow and Orange, or Green and Black. Maybe blue on white, Purple and white, maybe Jet Grey and blue, or an american flag theme!
  20. It certainly sounds like they are gonna try and run these parks the right way, aside from the whole leasing thing, and I wish them the best of luck. Maybe they will so something with the parks that becomes commonplace in the industry and make all of us "guests" very thankful!
  21. The Finger printing at Disney is new, last time I was there this last October, They had it in addition to scanning your bone density of your fingers. I found that to be really cool!
  22. I for one do not like Larosa's pizza. First off every time I walk by the one on International street it smells like Vomet, absolutely disgusting. Also, the crust is too floury, and almost pasty to taste, and there is too much crust, I really do not like it, Im with interpreter on this one. My Favorite pizza anywhere is Marion's Pizza in Dayton, Ohio which the pizza place is exactly 1.5 miles from my house Problem is, Marion's burnt down one month ago, and I am sad At least, they are rebuilding...absolutely gutted the place
  23. I have to completely agree with you, The most themed park that I have ever been to was Busch Gardens, an absolutely beautiful park. You have a section completely themed in Safari Africa with Rhino Rally and all of the animal viewing experiences on the Train, and there was a completely colonial American area with the Cleidsdales and history. There was a completely themed Egyptian area with Montu, a complete Nile area with Kumba, and Python, and a completely themed Moroccan area with sandy villages and Scorpion, aside from Disney, Busch Gardens truly knows how to run an amusement park, and yet they have another business venture in Anheuser Busch, but they dont let it effect the amusement park, they run the businesses together not using their theme parks as a promotional tool.
  24. The name of this ride was The Wheel of Fortune
  25. Thats a waste of a post. This was all a waste of a post, lol, and what im writing now is even a waste of a post! Now somebody quote this post!
