  1. Actually if I'm remembering right there were two trailers. One that faced at you as you walked out the exit for the onride photo, and then the merch trailer next to it that faced toward the midway.
  2. Yup, Chang track. They probably blasted and painted it there.
  3. I believe they used to only sell that at The Vortex ride photo counter.
  4. http://www.wildwaterfun.com/public/admission/season_passes/index.cfm Geauga's waterpark site says:

  6. The ground at the front of International Street was already bricks (at least in the center), so I wonder if they're talking about the entrance plaza, not actually International Street?
  7. Nope, I used that gate to enter WaterWorks in 2003. It's also present on the 2002 park map.
  8. The place is on Steel Plant Road, it might be there for refurbishment. It's nowhere near enough track to be the entire ride, so maybe some of it got damaged during disassembly. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Wilder,+KY+41076&sll=39.059716,-84.492373&sspn=0.01203,0.021157&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Wilder,+Campbell,+Kentucky&ll=39.064665,-84.491794&spn=0.012029,0.021157&t=h&z=16 This appears to be the place.
  9. It rolls back and stops in the safety brakes on the launch run. I have the rare "IJST Rollback Credit" from when it happened to my train on closing day 06.
  10. Full FAQ here: http://www.sixflags.com/national/footernav...ckykingdom.aspx
  11. I'm guessing (though I don't know) that that image is probably "official" and goes with the Magic Mountain press release. I can't see the LA times going to such trouble to change an image, photoshop in people, add a blue sky, etc... If there were no official images and it was up to the LA Times to find one, they'd probably a) put in a photo of a ride clearly not related to the future Mr. Six ride, or use an image of the ride from when it operated at New Orleans. Yeah, I meant SFMM stole it and edited it. Look at the people on the train. It's the SAME photo as RCDB.
  12. Looks like they stole and Photoshopped the RCDB/SFNO.com photo.
  13. I see people riding rides with shoulder-strap camera bags and fanny packs all the time. As long as it fits and doesn't interfere with the restraint, Diamondback and Firehawk are the only rides you can't have anything on you. Whether or not it's good for the safety of the camera inside said case is still up for debate. Beast broke the screen on my previous camera, while it was fastened in a cargo pocket, from the lap bar pressing against it. As for Beast eating phones, been there done that. Back in 2003, my phone was in a fairly deep pocket, and after the ride it was gone. Somehow managed to both fall out of my pocket and exit the train, they found it under the track caked in mud with the battery missing.
  14. Photos belong to you even if you broke the law while taking them. The Photographer's Right
  15. Can't legally force them to delete the images, either.
  16. Someone's been playing too much BioShock...
  17. Firehawk.
  18. I'm pretty sure Shannon from Flashback was in it at least some of the time.
  19. It was open last night...
  20. The Food page has actually gotten a lot better recently, including a link to a menu for the locations: http://www.visitkingsisland.com/attraction...ry.cfm?ac_id=68
  21. Nope im pretty sure Josh did both seasons of dead awakening, not Kyle. Pretty sure he was talking about the lighting guy, not the lead singer.
  22. People complained when those lights were added, now complaining when they're turned off?
  23. One of them is Calliope of Death by Lalo Schifrin from the Rollercoaster! movie soundtrack. It plays mostly in Coney Maul but I've heard it elsewhere. Also heard the Independence Day track that also plays on Beast's lift.
  24. http://www.cfmarketplaces.com/ CP, Knotts, Dorney only, though.
