As for the access issues, they could install an elevator, even if it's just one of the small wheelchair elevators sometimes found next to outdoor stairs on older buildings, that would service only that deck. They could put it on one side between the stairs and the main shaft, or replace one of the two staircases up to that deck, since there's one on each side.

They could add one of those small wheelchair elevators alongside the main shaft to service that deck.

First ride ever: Something in Hanna-Barbera Land in about 1993-1994. First coaster was Scooby Zoom in 94-95, and first ride outside of HB was one of the Coney flats about the same time.

I *still* occasionally get voicemails on my cell phone from doctor's offices, testing labs and hospitals trying to reach the former owner of my number, and I've had it since 2002.

Yeah, I saw the top of the funnel/wall cloud rotating by standing in front of my house.

For current rides, the only thing I haven't been on is Phantom Flyers, Blues Skidoo (Rode it as the Biplanes though), and Plankton's Plunge. Captain Nemo knows how awesome Sportacopters are.

PKIDelirium...I see you live in Xenia. I live in Jamestown. I was in Xenia today when the "tornado" was in New Jasper! Dude, Xenia is just about the last place you want to be during a tornado warning.

KC's track was hauled off to a scrapper at the end of 2006, and the station was torn down with the rest of the ride in 2002.

Yeah, it takes forever for the train to fully exit the brake run with a 7 car length, plus it has to move slowly until it enters the guide trough.

I wonder if that had anything to do with the Winterfest tree barge continuing to sit there instead of being removed.
