  1. The entire Top Gun soundtrack, and Ready to Go by Republica, used in Klockster's Vortex music video back in 2005.
  2. The side that operated from the Rivertown station was shut down for good sometime in the mid to late 90's.
  3. Wyandot wasn't in that bad of shape honestly, but the neighboring Columbus Zoo that owned the land (it was leased to Six Flags for operation, and they pulled out after the 2006 season) wanted to build an all-new waterpark and small dry amusement park of their own, so they auctioned off all the movable waterpark hardware and most of the rides. It's called Zoombezi Bay now. Pics, more pics, and pics of the auction open-house.
  4. My boat didn't sink, but I encountered a boat that had somehow gotten turned completely sideways, and shortly after that, an epic traffic jam. Both situations required me to use my boat as a battering ram to get through.
  5. Unless someone buys the park outright there will probably be an asset auction like they did at Wyandot Lake in 2006. Ironically, Beach bought two slides at that auction but never installed them.
  6. SItes typically have a contract with an advertising agency, and the agency is who rotates the ads. The site itself doesn't pick what gets shown.
  7. Separate admission could be a bit difficult to do considering the train... Putting an admission gate at the watermark train station entrance would be easy, but they'd have to do waterproof handstamps at the Rivertown station or something to get people back into the dry park.
  8. I think The Cliff would be the only one I'd want to see at KI. The rest are old as hell.
  9. Fail: Screamin' Demon is listed under Coney Island.
  10. Every time I click this thread all I can think of is...
  11. I've got a drawer full of the 2002 30th Anniversary poster maps. When CF took over and discounted the hell out of all the Paramount merchandise, they dragged a ton of them out of some warehouse and sold them for a buck apiece.
  12. Flying Eagles. As for a B&M Giga just being a bigger Diamondback, Canada's Wonderland now has Behemoth (B&M Hyper) and Leviathan (B&M Giga).
  13. I believe it will actually be Ed Alonzo. Some info on it from here: http://www.fansofkientertainment.com/?p=521
  14. TimberWolf Amphitheater? It's still there. Not used often, but it's there.
  15. That rust on GL's track and launch run is a little concerning. Otherwise the place seems to be in decent shape.
  16. Ah, not too far from me then. I'm on the other side of 35 bypass off Colorado, between upper and lower bell. We got power back the next morning. I drove through Laynewood area over the next few days taking photos of the damage. I kind of lucked out... We got home not long before it happened. Originally, we were going to go to Walmart, but decided to just go home instead.
  17. You must be pretty close to me, then. The 2000 tornado was less than half a mile North of my house. I saw the top of the rotating wall cloud out my front window.
  18. The first is either Mad Cobra or Crazy Cobra. (they are the same coaster, it was relocated). The second is Joker's Jinx at Six Flags America. Actually, the first is Poltergeist at SFFT. This is Mad Cobra/Crazy Cobra:
