What happens? You can expect to ride all of your favorite KI rides in a whole new atmosphere at night! There's a BUNCH of haunt mazes to go through. You can pretty much pick any nightmare: Haunted Hospital; Haunted House; Cemetery; Dead Jail; Pitch black walk through the woods; Haunted train, Scary Clowns.........and who knows what new things will or will not be added this year. Cedar Fair does a FANTASTIC job with this, and it's the most fun I've ever had. You'll have a great time.

I thought there were couches and mini bars and hot tubs in girlie bathrooms.

So, you went on a day where the chances of kids ages 10-15 are calling for 100% ....what do you expect? There's going to be lines on a Friday, especially when school coming to an end, and a trip to the park is an annual event for some schools. There's going to be lots of kids in lines until about 4PM. It's a Kings Island on a Friday...expect lines! As for the line jumping, tell them no. 9/10 times they will have their friends come back behind you. Don't try to be physical and block them...say something! And why would you get out of line after waiting? Just to runnnn all the way over to guest relations to hope they'd kick him out right then and there? I don't think all that work would ammount to that. This TR is going to be flamed to bits. If your chances of returning are zero, that's sad to hear. Oh, and Kings Island is NOT a "Six Flags Ohio." That's an insult, dude.

I skipped a 45 minute wait twice the other day by using the SRL. Only problem I see without the SRL tickets is: -Once people in the main line see people walking in the SRL, they jump out of the main line and into the SRL. I looked down from the top of the steps and saw the line was about 3/4 the way up. Then I looked again and saw the ops laughing at the SRL because people jumped from the main line and into the SRL, causing it to stretch back underneath the track. Nice. -Or visa versa.

Yup^ I've seen as fast as a few hours; to as long as a few days. 1.99 at the photo booth.

So today (May 15th 2009) after a few Diamondback rides; Sean(Kawana), a friend of mine, and I decide to head on over to the Crypt. It's closed.. The operator asks if we ride it a lot, and said we'll be in for a surprise becuase they changed the program. They toned it down. She said it only does two flips, because, well...the ride's been tearing itself apart (Who didn't know that one.) So we head inside, wait a few minutes...and we notice that the wall that opens up to let you walk into the ride (exiting the Deathbat room) is gone. There's just a gate. So you can see the ride operating! -In my opinion, I HATE this....it takes away the 'secret and secluded' feel of the ride. So, we go and sit down, and it starts up normally...but instead of heading into a flip, it just goes up and over (see Timmy's Air Tours) and then goes into one flip. It goes up to the top, reverses, and goes into an up and over...then a flip. These aren't like the USUAL Crypt flips, where it's OMFG PLASTER YOU TO YOUR SEAT flips...it's just...very gentle. It goes one more up and over, then carefully lands you back to stop. By that time, we're booing. Not just me, Sean, and my friend....THE WHOLE GONDOLA! The seats lift up, and the operators are asking everyone how the ride went. He's what I heard: "Put it in kiddy land, because Avatar is more intense" "It was boring" x10 "It was horrible" x5 "I want the old Crypt back" x3 "Waste of time." "Put something different in" "That sucked." I agree with all of the above. The Crypt was one of my FAVORITE flats, and I've been all over the world. Now....it's, well go ride it for yourself. Oh, you'll be in for a surprise. I'd rather it be gone than exist with the program it has. BOOOOO. -Zach

If there aren't any passes, anyone can jump in or out of the lines (either SRL to main line, or visa versa) Without passes, it's dumb. It also controls the length of the SRL. They don't want it going on forever, and it's all at the speed of how fast they're taking them from the station to the front. The point of the SRL is fill open seats on DB to maximize capacity. Sure, sometimes the line is longer than the regular line....well, then get out of the SRL and into the main line, dummy! It's a fantastic thing, and I thank KI over and over again for having it. It's allowed me TONS of rides on DB when the line is 45-60 minutes long. THANKS!!!!! -Zach
