  1. Several theories to present here: #1 They are all keeping beat with either the park music or songs in their heads. #2 They are simply doing their job. Lifeguards in the pool areas are required to scan their area which may require them to look up and down frequently. Also, lifeguards on the slides may be watching riders go down. #3 You are imagining things.
  2. Maybe they could build a mini-model of the original park. Personally I'd like to see a flat ride though.

Shouldn't be too crowded since that is a Tuesday. Depending on the number of schools that have gotten out by that point it could be a little more crowded.
  4. I was one of the first people to pick up my t-shirt on opening day and all they had was L and XL.
  5. Knowing that I would be attending both CP and KI this year I went ahead and bought myself a Maxx Plus Pass from KI's website a feww months ago. With all the advertising about the Gold Pass I was wondering if my Maxx Pass can be used as a Gold Pass. Does anyone know?
  6. Is it for sure that we will get anything in 2008? Have there ever been years in which CP or KI didn't have any new major attractions? If we do get something in 2008 I think we will get a new flat ride somewhere on Coney Mall. Something I'd like to see is a revitalization of Rivertown. That was always my favorite themed area of the Park and Paramount destroyed it with Tomb Raider and the Nick Zone expansion. IMO Tomb Raider is a giant eyesore and a waste of space. They should tear it down and build a wife for The Beast.
  7. Obviously the longest line will be Firehawk. You'll probably wait about 3 hours for that one. Flight of Fear may have a longer than normal line due to its proximity to Firehawk. The Vortex is usually a fast moving line so don't be scared off by long lines there. The Beast is also another fast moving long line IMO.
  8. Isn't that just the empty space left by King Cobra?
  9. Yes those are the same shoulder restraints that it had as X-Flight. I wish that they would start using those on all rides where OTSR are required. They are much more comfortable. One thing I did notice is that my legs hurt a little when "flying" which is something I don't remember from X-Flight. I think I may have sat in a weird way though.
  10. I was there for open on the first day and I waited 3.5 hours. I got to the park at about 9:45 and then sprinted to the ride. Then we had to wait until 1:30 for the ride to open. The shortest wait you'll probably get is 2.5 hours and the longest I've heard so far is 5.
  11. My brother is 6'7" and he just barely made it in. I heard that the height restriction is supposed to be 6'10" but the tape was just barely taller than my bro.
  12. Are you sure you saw correctly? The painter I saw was painting the ground around the yellow train's station platform. Also, I saw the yellow train run at least once during testing that day.
  13. THe T-shirts are white and have the Firehawk logo and above it it says "First Rider" in red letters similar to the Firehawk font. The lockers appear to be similar to those found in the water park and they cost 0.75 to rent.
  14. I was really shocked at the relatively low crowd levels today. The were only three lines that I saw were really long and that was Firehawk, FOF, and Vortex. All other lines were only about 45-30 minute waits.
  15. Were you by any chance the person responsible for the siting of Italian Job at Kings Island? No I'm just a noob.
  16. I got there today at 9:30 and I was on the 4th train to leave the station.
  17. I was on the fourth train today and I asked the ride manager why only one train was running. He said that they "are still working on train 2" whatever that means. Also, they were painting the station platform while we were there. There are some red stripes that are missing on both sides.
  18. you had to wait from 10- 1:30?? wow man, u are a hero Yeah I waited in that line too. They made it sound like it would open at noon but then they didn't let anyone on until 1:30. The shirts are pretty cool though which is what I was really waiting for. I already rode the ride before it when it was at Geauga.
  19. I was up in the ET a few weeks ago and from that vantage point I got an idea for a possible coaster that could go through there, the empty space next to the theater, and over top of Swan Lake.
  20. Wow thats a long time between trips! You are definitely going to need a park map!
