I had a cat give birth in the attic at the same time that the racoons were there. I got to hear that mess every night until she packed the kiddies and left. I also tried every urban remedy to get rid of the raccons... I first put in a radio blasting disco music, a flashing strobe light and multicolor mirror ball... all were supposed to get rid of them.... instead more came.... I started calling my attic Club State Street East. So when I saw the raccoon picture I was disgusted, but my dark side secretly cheered.

Of all God's creatures, I don't especially like raccoons anymore. A family decided to dig through a wall and through the roof of my home doing thousands of dollars of damage. We cage trapped them and repaired damage for two years. I trapped and released a couple of families... miles from my home and a river away. That being said, even though they are cute, they are destructive little monsters. They also can carry rabies.

I've given up on KI ever having a winter event. There are so many local events and other theme parks having events now that KI could never get a foothold. Considering that Six jumped into the snow almost immediately. KI would have to put on one heck of a sno show..... nah ain't happenin.... bah humbug.

At this time of year, there should be red lights in the water and aimed at the fountains, and on each fountain pedestal, there should be flame pots that burst into flame in synch to halloweenish music.... or during each Blood Drums show in sync wih their performance.

Blackout is the perfect candidate for the inflatable corridor and perhaps a droning heartbeat sound throughout the house.

I'd rather see I Street with international shops and food. Right now it seems like a mall food court. I would love to see Tower Gardens converted into an Asian inspired water garden with bamboo fountains and Bonsai trees.

Setup is important too. The queue line should have tvs playing an wndless loop of peple feeling their way through terrifying situations just to set the mood, and theain line shouldn't see the exiting guests.

Heck they could retell the legend of "Sleepy Hallow" complete with a headless horseman.

If people jumping out from dark places or fog scares you, you might want to get a "no boo" necklace, it wards off the monsters. There are ways to avoid them (however, they are a friendly lot and won't touch you.). Go anyway you might really enjoy yourself! The rides in the dark are supreme.

I agree! They could have a train ride / ghost story past glowing pumpkin patches, ghostly corn fields with hooting owls and scarecrows, through haunted woods and through a haunted town with projected images, all accompanied by a ghostly story broadcast over the train speakers.

Now that is theming....I hope they keep up with this sort of immersive theming for Haunt! BTW....that looks an awful lot like a certain Haunted House from a local park from long, long ago.... maybe a hint to the future? I hope so!!!

I'm waiting on some glowing faces or sudden flashlights under faces, scarier sounds. Sometimes your imagination can run wild just from scents and sounds alone....see ExtraTerrorestrial Alien Encounter (Disney ride). For example....how about a dark room with a nasty smell and the sound of crypt doors opening and closing all around you...then perhaps the feeling of bricks with bones / skulls sticking out of holes... and maybe old cloth or quilted coffin silk.... simple stuff but gets the point across...

Haunt was a haunt event that turned into a night at the amusement park event... it totally strayed away from theme in many ways. I go to HHN every few years because it is vastly different from HH, and waaaay more entertaining.

Its not for everyone....and its definitely tame in conparison to other haunts for certain.
