  1. ^he's not talking about Kings Island being closed, leaving only a small water park, he's talking about it being a separate admission, like Soak City at Cedar Point.
  2. i like them both, but i voted red, just because i like that color better. the only time i ever ride the blue racer is so that i can see if the park has anything "hidden" back by the wooden coaster maintenance sheds (i.e. Halloween Haunt theming)
  3. well, it was either The Beastie, or The Racer, i'm not completely sure and my parents aren't either, i'm going to guess that i was three or four when i rode them.
  4. sure, i'll set you up as an admin. well, i guess it would work better if i knew you're name.
  5. at the nascar speed park in sevierville, tn, they have one of the starship 4000's, me and the group i was with rode it four times in a row, lets just say, it's very difficult to drive a go-cart after you're that dizzy. and you're right about that crashing to the floor, not a fun experience.
  6. roller coaster: Son of Beast flat: the crypt (first season as the crypt program) water ride: race for your life charlie brown (i love riding back into the shaded woods on a hot day)
  7. i don't understand why you all say this, it's the same exact place it was, all they did was replace spongebob and pals with snoopy and friends. it's not like Kings Island went in and removed every ride and replaced it with small rides like what Cedar Point's Planet Snoopy is filled with, all they did was gave rides/buildings much needed paint jobs along with new signs and added some new statues. if anything, Planet Snoopy deserves the golden ticket award much more than last seasons nick u. did.
  8. i would love for the park to re-add the four slides that were where the racing water slide is now. those were awesome
  9. okay, am i showing up as "Vortex and magnum xl-200 are NOT sinking" on your all's facebook profiles? if not, how do i?
  10. ^^i was thinking the same exact thing while watching it. i think it was made up, just because of his "strategic plan" to get all of the rides in. he walked pass top thrill four times before even riding it, and then he took the complete opposite path he should have to get from wicked twister to millennium force.
  11. still building it, but here it is so far. (i added a little something extra to the group.) http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=128424093855061
  12. yes/no/enterprise i really want a screamin' swing, but since the other two attractions in x-base have more of a secret government training feel to it, i voted for an enterprise, kind of like the g' force test that astronauts and some pilots go through, making it, in my mind at least, the easiest to tie into the current theme of the area.
  13. with paramount we would no longer have what is now known as the x-base area, we would have never gotten Firehawk, and would have lost Flight of Fear.
  14. imagining is about all you could do, i don't think there is anyway a giant topspin could do that, unless huss has completely redesigned them.
  15. i'm pretty sure that those "stupid barns" are used for wooden coaster maintenance, i don't see them going anywhere.
  16. formula rossa and ringĀ°racer
  17. well, this wasn't really weird, but it was disturbing, last year while in the station for my first night ride on Diamondback there was a more hefty lady wearing a very tight pair of spandex and a spaghetti strap bikini top.
  18. there are two coasters right now slated to be faster than kingda ka, they just haven't got that fast yet, i don't think.
  19. Kings Island: take it long and hard. you've got to love wiki.
  20. ^who said it was complete? some members of this site believe that a second lift should be added to make the ride made longer. and shh... Cedar Fair might hear you.
  21. i was on my way home from Cedar Point the day of the announcement, and i asked my dad if we could stop by Kings Island since we were going to be driving by it, then he informed me of already set in stone plans for that day and took i-75 home instead of i-71 so i couldn't talk him into it. i ended up getting a text and then checked it out on my grandma's computer.
  22. you forgot the trims, what Cedar Fair owned ride could possibly be complete without them?
  23. does he get to skip to the front of the lines? if not, he better hope he's there on a dead day. i don't think it would be that difficult to ride four roller coasters in less than one hour, especially if you didn't have to wait in lines. just a question, it says four of the tallest and fastest roller coasters in the world, does that mean the four are top thrill, millie, magnum, and wicked twister?
  24. another significant change was the re-profiling of the left turn coming out of the tunnel after the first drop. if i remember correctly the turn used to have little to no banking, and now you can see where it's degree of banking is larger.
  25. okay, i was going more by the "not a one of which is in the united states of america" where two of the six diving machines are located. but i think i just read your post completely wrong.
