  1. ^that house was the home of the owners of the land Kings Island sets on before it was purchased to build Kings Island, so yes, the fort was built after the house.
  2. what are you talking about?
  3. i never got to ride it. the year i was finally tall enough to ride it was the year it was removed.
  4. from seaworld: http://www.seaworldparksblog.com/explore/blog/tribute-dawn-brancheau the video was played before the first showing of the believe shows at each seaworld park.
  5. i was thinking more of this, from one of my favorite musicals: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MgL6nZ2hYXA not technically "downtown" but it says it a lot.
  6. okay, i know that there are threads with king cobra pov's, but this one is different from all of those, plus it was released by Kings Island *clicking the video works the same as a link
  7. i really like standbyme's suggestions, but if the house is in well enough shape, i think it would be neat to remove the fort structure and do some touch up work to the old farm house setting in side of it and then the train operators could have a spiel about how that was the farm house belonging to the people who owned the land in which Kings Island sets on before it was purchased and Kings Island built. kind of like a mini history lesson about the park.
  8. you, the way your post read, you were agreeing with terpy's post about how every time he hears Diamondback's horn he almost always thinks first " today's going to be a great adventure!" which was a reference to kingda ka's horn.
  9. ^ the interpreter was referring to Diamondback having the same horn as kingda ka (which is located at six flags great adventure.)
  10. well, it's about time they changed the signs. they still had the looping Son of Beast logo on them. (still being positive )
  11. terpy, how do you come up with this stuff.
  12. ^did you just hint a liking for Son of Beast?
  13. ^umm... how many people does it take to push that train back? although only a three car train, it still has to be heavy, doesn't it?
  14. ^i thought it was kinda neat that they asked you for a suggestion.
  15. if you're looking for jennie k. this summer at Cedar Point, good luck finding her. link to story http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/fun/blog/index.cfm?entry=85821785-6f4c-4807-9cc7-4a575b4fa0af
  16. link. i really like the first question asked.
  17. cedarpointer pointed out at the beginning of this thread that it was a joke and only a joke. edit: you spelled y'all wrong.
  18. http://www.people.co...-fullcontentcnn yet another article about her. i thought this quote was quite interesting:
  19. ^not to mention the box of scooby snacks setting by the mantle. i guess you have to give them some credit though, the ride hasn't ran with the public as riders since the re-theme.
  20. the mystery machine was what the front of the photo booth, that was until it became fairly odd coaster.
  21. it's really sad that they are most likely unable to release tillikum back into the wild because of his extended stay in captivity, i hope that they can find something to do with him. has he had a history of being rough with the other orca whales in captivity with him that could possibly effect his future?
  22. ... and ruin the pattern that has been set in place?
  23. ^i'm using firefox and it's coming up fine.
  24. i'm glad that "thrill rides" and "roller coasters" are now in distinctive categories, i never liked how paramount placed them both together.
  25. i like it a lot, can't wait for Kings Island's new site.
