We may see what the Paramount parks could have looked like,if the new Paramount Parks overseas are ever built. The concept work for those parks looked awesome!

yea, i kinda figured that a direct hit would have been very bad, for both the goose and fabio, instead of the only the goose.
i mean i think it's bad just to get pooped on by a seagull at Cedar Point, i couldn't image having a huge dead bird carcass hit me in the nose while traveling at that rate of speed.

well would previous court cases have any barring on this one? Meaning the jury has found KI to be at fault (in one way shape or form) from the previous law suit... wouldnt a simple force test show that at any one point of the ride, there would be excessive force on the skull? or is it a much more indepth conversation/lawsuit than that....

well, i doubt that would work, expecially since Cedar Fair redesigned and rebuild one whole section of the ride
and the goose was about when fabio got hit in the face while riding apollo's chariot, and you referring to the different things that could cause a blood vessel to burst.
edit: terpy beat me to explaining the goose.

^^but with that, Son of Beast was tested and cleared to see if there was any part of the ride that could have caused such a force that would have caused a blood vessel to burst. so i don't see how they can use that as evidence that Son of Beast was the cause of the burst vessel.

Yes, the case was settled out of court, but only after the issue of liability WAS decided by the jury involved. Why you seem to think Son of Beast was not determined to be the cause of the injuries is beyond me.
i'm talking about the woman who reported bursting a blood vessel in her head after riding Son of Beast, the case that was settled in court (the one left over from the '06 accident), i understand was caused by Son of Beast.

well the '06 one, and although not technically an accident, i count the closing right after it's grand opening to rebuild a part of the ride structure.
okay, so it's the same number with both if you don't count the closing right after opening, but still, the one with Cedar Fair has yet to have proof that Son of Beast was the cause of it.

^^ I agree. When TTD opened it was a maintenance nightmare as to be expected from a record breaking coaster. But CF has slowly ironed out (most of) the kinks. That being said CF wouldn't put in another launcher at KI. Too near CP.
i believe that Cedar Fair is on the way to getting Son of Beast from being a maintenance nightmare, i mean come on, they're in control of the ride for one overhaul and there has been one extreme accident (which still hasn't had proof of it being the cause.)
If you're doing maintenance on roller coasters and can't stand heights, then frankly you're in the wrong line of work.
i agree with this completely, if you don't like the heights involved, i'll gladly take your job.

no it wouldn't the whole 100 pages would be arguments over the decision, some would love it, and others would despise it, and some would still be indifferent.

no it was the front, when standing in the pre-show room, the far left line is roped off, follow it with your eyes into the ride room, you'll fall off onto the garage floor.

last year was my first year going to Kings Island, ever since i was tall enough, where i didn't even ride white water canyon once, and the worst part is, i didn't even realize it until it was too late.
so here's to 25 years wwc.
