i got one today about the city of mason voting on the parking and admission taxes.
-
^since when was The Beast sbno, unless your counting the down period from november 2- april 17?
-
those are excellent, i especially love the picture of the really tall support starting to be rose into place. i would love to see more if you ever have the time to post them.
-
well arn't all roller coasters out and back, because they all have trains that end up back in the station? but your right, i've never heard it called an out and back before.
-
wow, do you have more pictures like that one that you could post for our enjoyment?
-
^it says that Diamondback finishes with a splashdown into a lake, is this similar to a "cement pond"?
-
okay, is there anyway to change the settings so you can view some of your first post? i kinda like being able to reflect back on the way that i started this site out acting and then think about all the things that i have done and learned to make myself more alert in the amusement park industry.

^hey they say bad things happen in threes, lets hope that each one of those you listed counts as one.

i had a weird dream that Cedar Point was located right on the other side of The Beast, and all you had to do was walk down a pathway through the woods, which was themed like frontier trail and you were standing at raptor outside where the main entrance is located.
and then a couple of nights later i had a dream that dorney park was located in eastern kentucky.
-
i still wish they would pick one and stick with it and if i could suggest it being "where else?"
-
^well, in that case, i made it up
now can i please ride it? i've been waiting since mother's day.
-
i like the old slogan better, but i love Cedar Point's "america's roller coast"
-
i know, it was sarcasm, or atleast me attempting it. lol

also notice that, "this ride is closed for the remainder of the 2009 season" has been removed since closing day, they could have easily changed the 09 to 10.
just saying
Right now they're trying to sell visits for the upcoming summer, and season passes, and planned trips. Why on Earth would they boast on their website that one of the most....colorful....rides in their lineup will be closed?
well, the way some people talk, there are a whole heck-of-alot of people that despise the ride, so in theory wouldn't it boost season pass and ticket sales according to everyone that hates it rejoicing that it's gone?

^i loved that, having the view of the lift hill getting smaller and smaller, i don't think anything can ever top that for me.

I think Torture Tower would be really cool.
me too, i don't remember where i read it, but wasn't Kings Island looking into having glass panels placed on the floor of the Eiffel Tower? if so that would be neat if they could have like stuffed "dummies" that look like they have been hanged from the viewing platform of the tower.
too bad it was damaging to the structure of platforms.

^once again, wishing terpy was my grammar teacher.
-
i thought that, but i typed in "routing for the home team" on google and it popped up a caption for that had routing used insted of rooting, so i figured it was correct. guess not.
-
i'm still rooting for a reopening in 2010
edit: to fix spelling
-

Have to love the squiggly lines on the map representing the rides!
and yet the "squiggly lines" are more accurate than the present park maps.
-
^I've never seen that. Is it like the Davey Jones projection on Pirates of the Caribbean at WDW? It has a projection of him on a little waterfall of mist.
i love that davy jones projection "dead men tell no tales." love it.

It looks like there was a light shinning back on the riders. Not something I would have liked.
the light didn't shine back on you, the ride was still the darkness it is today, or at least from what i remember, it also could have been it was so faint that i didn't notice.
Somebody must like The Crypt
