this picture is from 2008 of side b, those seats look like they're in pretty bad shape, plus i feel like i read somewhere on here that all of these motion seats became donors for the ones still being used on side a. ... and is it just me, or is the bottom row of seats completely missing in this picture?

if this has been answered already, sorry. anyway, can anyone who has been past Son of Beast so far this season be kind enough to share with me if the 'walls' of wolf pack have been taken down or not? i haven't had a chance to get to the park yet and i was just wondering. thanks for any help!

my favorite type of roller coaster are wooden hypers. after that it's wooden terrain and then b&m inverts.

funny, you were the one who wanted Kings Island to invest in giant signs that let you know that the smaller signs weren't lying by saying you must have a handstamp to re-enter the park.

they could easily do like Firehawk on it's opening day and just open it later in the day, they never said when it'd be open opening day.

i hate to tell you, but that renovation took a year to complete. there are 19 days until the park opens for the season.

if you wouldn't mention the ride in every thread maybe, just maybe, they'll leave you alone.

^i hope that doesn't happen, i love the idea of ark encounter and i love roller coasters, but if they were there in the same place, to me at least, it would bring people in for reasons other than what was originally intended.

i have figured out what is going on with the map! they removed all of the trees to hint that Son of Beast is being reopened with a new layout. the trees in the park will slowly be removed and turned into lumber so that they work can be done at a cheaper cost. i cannot believe that someone else hadn't uncovered this earlier.

on facebook someone posted a response from don about the ride upgrades, it said, to the effect of, the antechamber and pre-show room are being re-modeled/themed (i guess that's what you could call it), and a new sound track will be played. these were just "initial" changes, however, so i guess that there are more to come.

sounds like you had a great time, angie! if i ever make it down to kings dominion, i hope this statement isn't true. i've never found anything special with maverick, but i do not think of millennium of being all that great either, i'm more of a magnum/ dragster kind of guy. haha i do, however, love forceful rides, great white (batman model) at sea world san antonio is my favorite invert i've been on, maybe i-305 will still have a chance.

Nice! I leave for Florida on the 16th so hopefully that week they will. Where would I look to find out if there is one? they usually don't announce soft openings, your best place to look would be the ride itself the days you're there.

i thought action theater was already 4-d, the fourth dimension is the motion seats.

was smash factory the one where you were kind of like a crash test dummy? if so, i loved that movie, my favorite parts were when you ran over the cardboard cutouts as they popped up in front of you and at the very end when the smiley face airbag deployed.

funny thing is viacom still seems to be okay with their extremely high license fees. i knew without a doubt in my heart/mind that this change would be a successful one and i have no regrets with my initial thoughts.
