  1. I can tell you one guy who is making money off of his site. And he's not using it to help others. It's no one on here.
  2. I miss working at the park. I worked at the park for Halloween Haunt and loved it. Was my first time working at the park. I may work a whole season next year. The people i worked with were freaking sweet too. Lol.
  3. If i work for KI in 2012, i may see yall.
  4. When you buy or deal with any stock no matter what company it is, you will have risks. I think the biggest risk stock wise right now is sports teams. They will take one of the biggest hits money wise because of the players cost and a few other things. If the team is bad, then they risk being sold off.
  5. Which is one of the things actively hurting the event, the other (IMHO) being Haunt being free with admission and drawing larger, rowdier crowds. I'm under the assumption a fairly large portion of the monsters are under the age of 18, which leaves a majority of the houses understaffed at the end of any given night (or even in the middle of the night). The Island should go the route of the Farm by raising the age limit to 18 for Haunt. They have to be a EOE.
  6. Not scary? That's kinda odd since most everyone i seen go though it was screaming. Even grown men were. The only bad part was a few of the gp who went though it was telling people where everyone was. And some got balled out for doing stuff that was against the rules of the park. When i went through very few of the scare actors apeared to be trying this could be because it was the last night but overall i felt it was the least scariest and it was the shortest. The minors have to leave at a certin time.

  8. The football hall of fame is in Canton, Ohio.
  9. All i will say is that you get what you pay for. If you don't pay for the extra perks, then you don't get them at all. If that makes sense.
  10. They won't just stop DB at night when it's cold when it's still running during Haunt unless it breaks down. The ride was running all day and still should be warm wheel wise.
  11. How much do you think it cost's Cedar Point to hold Coastermania every year? They don't charge the coaster club members or guests for that at all as long as you are a season pass holder.
  12. I think that they meant in the mornings. They didn't open DB for ert Sunday till after 12 pm i believe. Those guys could of been ride ops too. The ride ops know that stuff as well.
  13. If it wasn't for Cedar Point, Sandusky wouldn't be making money. Lol.
  14. The Haunted Hootchie is known for breaking the rules on the touching of the guests.
  15. flightoffear1996, on 27 October 2011 - 01:02 PM, said: I would love to see a ticketed system and maybe it would cut down some of lines. If KI upped the ante on some of the houses and charges like $8-$12 per haunted house I'd be fine with that. Thats what your going to pay at least for a local haunted house. A local haunted house also doesn't charge over 30.00 + to get into it either. You have to remember that people are paying alot of money if they aren't pass holders per person to get into the park. Most people don't think about that. It's bad enough the gp cries about how much it costs to get into the park. Let alone the hotel and or long drives they take to get to the park. A big number of the gp pay the full price to get into the park or how ever much it is to get in just at haunt time. So one family of 4 with the tickets, food, parking and the haunt would cost them over $250.00 per family if they pay the price you said per person if they get all of the haunts in. Flightoffear1996, would you be willing to pay that much? I know you wouldn't be fine with paying to see more then 4 haunts on top of paying the full price to get into the park with food and parking.
  16. The ride is safe. Otherwise, the state won't let the park open it. Trust me, Ohio is very strict on ride rules. Those are people who can't follow the rules and need to be taken out. Oh trust me, some of the supervisers will do more then just say they will have you taken out. They do alot more. Lol.
  17. While i was at my Haunt maze exit, a lady asked me what color The Racers coaster was. I told her that it was white. Which it is. But i thought it was a crazy question.
  18. I think my brain. Lol.

  19. Sadly, no. It was 1:45AM by the time we got done with Tombstone. Plus, the fact that I have had discussions with management at different levels of more than one Cedar Fair park in the past, with no resolution, or even acknowledgment of the problem, at any point. Waste of time. In another thread, someone mentioned the Fast Lane wait for Beast on Saturday to be 1/2 hour. This validates my point, they are selling way too many of these things. Look at the wording of how these passes are advertised. "...front of the line..." is used in multiple places. What does this really mean, then? If I paid for Fast Lane and had to wait 1/2 hour, I'd be upset. Either it's front of the line, or it's not. If the actual reality of it is "80% quicker than the regular line", then advertise it as such. I agree with other posters that part of the problem is the employees managing the ques. I know this was a big part of the problem I saw on Beast at night. The guy up in the station seemed very confused on whether he should be letting Fast Lane people in, or regular people. In short, I reiterate my earlier statement, they sold WAY too many on Saturday. In my simple mind, the correct number to sell would be where there is almost never a backlog of people waiting IN the Fast Lane que, while at the same time not affecting regular patron's ability to visit each attraction. Either the number of passes needs to be more limited, or the price raised substantially. Either way, it is most certainly an art to achieve this, and a moving target from one day to the next. You can't just give up and not try and do something about a problem. That won't solve it. Going to the park via calling them or emailing them will at least get the ball rolling.
  20. Btw, the park did have a bus system for us workers who parked in the grass.
  21. Everything depends on the weather.
  22. They spent how ever many millions on SOB. And it's just sitting around.
  23. I didn't say they were still in the building. Lol. I just said i have pics of them.
  24. I know that Cedar Point runs the coasters/rides in the cold. I was at the park one year in Oct., and everyone including me was in 3 layers of clothes. They still ran them. The wind and or rain will more then likely close certin coasters/rides.
