The only thing underground that i know of for storms at KI is at BLSC.

If people go into a pond that has some sort of fencing around it and or signs, then whatever happens to them is not the fault of that comapny. But that company has to have fencing and or signs to not be at fault. I'm wondering if this topic should be in the rumor area.

SOB looks bad. Some of the wood in areas is real loose. Got a good look at it when i was on Adventure Express saturday. SOB looks older then The Beast.

The Beach must of not of found a buyer. They made the call to close back in march.

Just to add to your question, I know that it has been mentioned before, I just forget where. Being in the midwest, I wonder if Kings Island has organized procedures, as well as multiple shelters in the event of a tornado. I did see a video of people hiding in the basement under Action Theater during a tornado warning, but does the park have any other practical shelters solely for this purpose? I'm not sure what KI's procedures are because i have never been at KI during a tornado, but i was at Cedar Point during one and i was inline for Disaster Transport. They had us go into the other part of the building where the que line is where the working props were at. We couldn't leave no matter what till they gave us the all clear. I know that the BLSC has a tornado shelter in the steel buildings they have around the ride. Seen the signs.

I wish that KI would do like CP did and make an Adults only area with a hot tub and swim up bar. The best thing about the hot tub at CP is the view of Magnum. Waving at the guests as they go by and them waving back is cool.

Spirit Song days will be packed bad till the shows start. If it's nice during a Haunt saturday, then the park will be packed. The workers had to park in the grass close to Western Row Rd. cause the guests needed the extra parking. I know the last saturday of the Haunt last year was packed too. But the crowds thined out when it got cold.

I eat at Great Wolf Lodge. It's a nice walk to the lodge, and you get alot of food. You pay kinda the same price as you would in KI. But the amount of food is great.

They will have other stuff too. Force is the only coaster on the show that i know of.

Here's what i would of said to the lady who said she was hurt on SOB. We will need to see your medical records saying that you were hurt because of the ride so we have proof. A court would say the same thing alot of times. If you were hurt as a result of a ride or roller coaster, then you must have proof from the doctors or hospitals or by the EMT's at the park. Problem is, did she sue the park? Alot of people who have health problems don't know it till they get on a ride or roller coaster. Then the G's bring out the issue's. But alot of people go against doctors orders and still ride stuff anyway. Did the SOB cause her injury? Only her medical records know that. If you say you got hurt, then bring proof saying you did. If the lady did, then the park only knows that.

They do that secrecy thing cause no one really knows what will be going on till the company tells us for sure.

They might of had it looked at to have it redone like the Texas Giant and thought it won't work. Or it's not worth the money to be put into it.

The statements that I make are almost always directed towards Son of Beast I have said it before, the last time anyone said anything about maybe something being done with SOB was a year ago or so when the old CEO of Cedar Fair said it at Coastermania. Cedar Fair would be looking at putting over 10 million dollars or more into it just to fix it. They already put in over 15 million dollars to take the loop out, get new cars and retrack it.

That don't sound good.

I got banged up real bad one time on SOB, and never rode it again. I couldn't ride anything for like 4 hours after that cause of the pain. Had to buy some 5.00 Advil. Lol.

That sign will have to be replaced.

In order for SOB to open in 2013, they will have to work on it now. Because it has been sitting around with nothing being done to it, they will have to repair or replace alot of the wood if it's bad. And will take them months/a year or so to replace the whole track and get new cars. That's on top of what Ohio says about the ride being able to reopen with the new track and Ohio needing to inspect the whole ride. The only one who said anything about SOB maybe getting fixed was the old CEO of Cedar Fair. And that was over a year ago.

SOB and The Crypt won't be running anymore. More of the Crypt then anything unless SOB get's fixed.

They have to have all of the rides inspected by The State Of Ohio every year. That little sticker if you can see it near the ride ops booth tells you that the ride is good to run this year. It will say 12 on it. The year it was inspected.
