Is Top Gun(aka) Flight Deck, being torn down?
Dalefan replied to rip-phantomtheater's topic in Coming Attractions
The last time i looked, the trains for King Cobra are sitting in the Flight of Fear building. -
Saturdays at KI are busy. I worked Saturday, and we were busy.

You would have to go through the guy or gal who runs that wrestling company. I loved the part where the guy gets ran out of Guest Services. I bet they have times where they wanna do that. Lol.

Lord, I hate Vince Russo. He was the reason the WCW was sold off. -
Half Pint Brawlers Accuse Hulk Hogan of Ripping Them Off

He can't wrestle anymore. -
I did Fastlane once and i loved it. I had the extra money, and i was at the park anyway due to me needing to do some stuff with H.R. for the Haunt. I would only do Fastlane if i have the extra money. The day i did it was the day the park was super packed. So it was worth it.

Walt Disney Monorails: What's Their Age?
Dalefan replied to coaster_junky's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
What i find funny is that Disney spends upwards of 100 million dollars or more on a ride. But they can't replace the monorails that are old? -
Tell that to Sprint. Lol.

I seen Bobby, Greg and Cindy when they came to Kings Island a few years back.

Banned For Life From Great America
Dalefan replied to The Interpreter's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Not quite. If you read the end of the second page of the first article linked in the OP, that incident only got him banned for the rest of the season. It was trying to re-enter in violation of that ban that got him banned for life (as well as arrested for trespassing). Ah, I see... The whole "news article on two pages" thing infuriates me like no other... It's a way to increase ad-space and nothing more. Still, it seems an extreme punishment. When he tried to re-enter, was he paying for parking and following all other rules and regulations? I've never seen a park come down so hard. Are folks ever banned from Kings Island for a season, or for life? As for tracing the violators, Islander, there must be a way if he was caught returning, and in the second article, it notes that one woman returned three times despite a lifetime ban by using fake names. When I went to Six Flags Great America this summer, each ticket required a first and last name to be inputted online, though no one checked any ID's or anything to verify. It seems very strange to me, but given the area Great America is in, perhaps it's a necessary evil. Still I think the process is being abused when not paying for parking gets you banned. Fined? Sure. But banned from the park? I don't think that's fair. Pictures of the people who have been banned more then likely. -
I have my fitting that day.

That could be one reason why the club and the guy who runs it have been in a heap of trouble with the parks.

Whats with all of the new members coming on and being a tad rude?
-
They had to change from WWF to WWE due to a issue.

Just look at what Hulk Hogan is doing now. Micro Champion Wrestling. He must be in need of money. Lol. Kings Island could of used the WWE or TNA. But TNA would of been more better due to not having alot of stuff. And i don't think the food places have enough food to feed half of the guys in the WWE. I have seen many wrestling companys. The Half Pint Brawlers are nothing compaired to them.

Disappointed with Holiday World
Dalefan replied to DaveStroem's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I have seen people get mad over a 1.00 to 2.00 rise in parking fees. When i have went to a themepark in the past and had to pay for parking and didn't have a pass, i would split the fee with the others i go with in the car so one person doesn't need to pay the full amount. -
Chris Rose: Six Flags (New Orleans) up for sale
Dalefan replied to rotag's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
This only took how long? Lol. Six Flags had the chance to rebuild this park. But took the most easy way out any company could. Insurance could of helped rebuild a good chunk of the park. This is just jobs lost for 1,000's of people who are still looking to rebuild lives in that state after the hurricane in 2005. -

A park or park chain can't keep prices low forever. -
My first roller coaster experience happened on a trip to Cedar Point with my cousin and his friend from our church. This was my 1st ever trip to the park. I never was really big on riding coasters because i was scared of heights. My cousin and his friend dragged me on Gemini. I rode it and was scared to death. Lol. So i stayed away from riding coasters till i went to LeSourdsville Lake Amusement Park in 2002 during the only ACE event the park ever had. I rode the now demolished The Screechin' Eagle. I only rode it 2 times because i still wasn't sure if i could go anymore. I went to Kings Island in 2002 and for the first time, i rode The Beast. This was the first coaster i rode at Kings Island. After the first drop, i loved it. Lol. I then rode the coaster 4 or 5 times more during that day. I rode a few coasters after that. But nothing too extreme. My cousin asked me if i wanted to go to Cedar Point with him either in 2002 or 2003. I said yes. I started to ride some of the small coasters like Blue Streak, Gemini, Woodstock Express and so on. I rode Magnum XL200 after i got use to the speed and heights. I loved it sorta. Lol. The first time i rode Millie Force, it was cold and raining. And this was during Halloweekends of 2003 The park at the time still ran coasters in the rain. I had won a bet with my cousin that i would not ride it. We make bets when we leave splits in bowling. If that person picks up the split, that person would win someting like a shirt or cd. Never money. I still rode Force anyways. Lol. I loved the coaster. But i had yet to ride my most favorite coaster at Cedar Point called Wicked Twister. I wasn't sure what to think of it because i had not seen a coaster like it. I rode it and i loved it very much. At that time, i had rode every coaster at Cedar Point but 2. One was Jr. Gemini. I had to have a kid with me. I finally rode it the day i took my girl friend and her son and her son's cousin in 2008. I proposed to her that day on the boardwalk. The other coaster was Top Thrill Dragster. At the time i rode it, it was the 2nd tallest and fastest coaster. Kingda Ka had just opened that same year. When i rode it, i thought wow. Lol. But i didn't really say that. Lol. My cousin said that when he rode it for the first time, he saw god on it 3 times. After this, i had gone to Holiday world for the first time for an ACE event the weekend that lady fell off of one of the coasters and passed away. I then went to Geauga Lake for the first time. To date, i had rode all of the coasters but 3 at every themepark i had been to. One was at Geauga Lake. One at Kennywood. And one at Kings Island. My uncle said that he and my cousin had turned me into a rollercoaster freak or monster. Lol. I still love rollercoasters and themeparks. I am a member of ACE and a Cedar Fair pass holder. I have been for along time now. I would like to go to other themeparks. But that will depend on time and money. Scott

The Safari Monorail Ride is at Jungle Jims. And it should be running.

You do know that this info could cost your mom's close friend right? This info may of needed to be hush hush because this build may or may not even happen. And they could be looking at a lawsuit because this info leaked out by the person who designs and builds coasters. This site can be watched by the Kings Island higher ups. All hospitals have a healthcare law about patient confidentiality laws. That law in itself can cost a person or hospital alot.
