  1. The Johnny Rockets inside of Cedar Point maybe has a 2.00 more difference then one outside of the park. Famous Daves is owned by Cedar Point. They have normal steak house prices like you would see at Longhorn or Outback.
  2. I know full well that Cedar Fair wants to tell Q to kiss their butt. Lol. In one letter, they told them in a nice way to go somewhere.
  3. deidre1976, heres the pic of the slides i was talking about.
  4. Kinzel alleges Raynor's ultimate goal is to merge Cedar Fair with the Six Flags amusement park chain. Six Flags filed for bankruptcy in June 2009 but left restructuring in May 2010. Q Investments has sidestepped questions about any proposal to merge Cedar Fair and Six Flags. Any Comments on what will happen if this happens?
  5. The funny thing is the WindSeeker comments on a few of the sites like Facebook. Most of the people are saying the ride is lame and boring. But yet, the ride isn't open yet and no one has rode it. And most of those who made the comments won't ride it because they are too chicken.
  6. I'm just hoping that Q stays out of the Cedar Fair board. I said before that if Q gets in, how do we know that they won't screw up? Six Flags had 2 guys on the board who owned big named company's. A few of them are the Red Sox, Redskins, and Johnny Rockets. An investment company trying to run a themepark company isn't a good thing. Cedar Fair saved the Paramount Parks when they bought them. Can you just thing about what would of happened of Six Flags got ahold of them?
  7. I'm wondering if The Beach will put up the waterslide they got from the old Six Flags Wyndot Lake waterpark. It's was sitting in the parking lot.
  8. The date for Coastermania isn't set yet. I know last year, it was on the same weekend as Holiwood Nights.
  9. The park should of made phone calls to the other themeparks asking if they wanted to buy the coaster. I'm not sure if that happened or not. I'm sure a small park or a park like Kennywood would of jumped on the chance to buy it. A normal person can't really do much with a coaster. The cost to move it, to get the state to inspect it and the maintance or repair will be too much money. The lady just couldn't get the funds to buy it. Move on and try to find another buyer. The longer it sits, the worst off it will be repair wise.
  10. One of the reasons for SOB's closing was due to the last report of an injury. I seen a news report on it. The ride went SBNO after that. The people who can really say the ride will open again is Kings Island and The State of Ohio. http://www.wlwt.com/news/19826324/detail.html . I read on Facebook on Kings Island's page that someone had said that they wasn't going to the park this year because SOB was closed. I been in Kings Island's customer service office alot to do the kid wrist band things. I can tell you that they deal with alot of people who fly off the handle for no reason. And the funny thing is, the people have a kid with them while they are cussing out the customer service people for some dumb reason. Trust me, i would rather deal with Cedar Fair's customer service then with Six Flags customer service.
  11. The day that Screamscape is right about all rumors is the day The Browns win the superbowl. Lol.
  12. I can see the mom being charged and the child being taken away from her.
  13. Just a note that the whole Mayan Calendar thing saying the world will end in 2012 is a big joke. Only one person knows when it will end. And it isn't us humans. That calendar was made so far back that it's not funny.
  14. They also got $5,000 from Mike and Frank after they sold the side show posters they bought from the park.
  15. The funny thing is that most of the lawsuits that get filed in the courts get settled even if the person who filed the lawsuit is wrong. That is why most places like hospitals have to now pay higher medical malpractice insurance for themselfs and the doctors. The hospital i work at had a few doctors quit because they couldn't afford the medical malpractice insurance for the family health offices they ran. Start fining and charging the people who file the dumb or stupid lawsuits and they will stop filing them. That is why themeparks and hospitals get the most lawsuits. People file them no matter how dumb or stupid. And they will settle on most of them even if the lawsuit needs to be fought. You got lawyers. Use them. Lol.
  16. Here would be a good lawsuit. A Columbus, Ohio man is suing the Ohio Lottery because they caused him to have a heart attack and he needed heart surgery after he won a 220 million dollar mega millions jackpot. The man, Mobile Phone said that the Ohio Lottery didn't warn him that winning such a large amount would cause such pain and suffering to him and his family. He is seeking 30 million dollars, a lifetime of instant lottery games and tickets and also wants the lottery board to now warn folks about the health risks of playing the lottery. He also wants his 220 million dollar lottery winnings in full and not have to pay any taxes because of the pain and suffering.
  17. http://www.2spare.com/item_65657.aspx Kings Island's lighting suit is in this one. The others are just too funny.
  18. That's like the lawsuit over Google Maps. The lady sued due to the map telling her to walk on the freeway. Lol.
  19. http://www.setexasrecord.com/news/217765-woman-sues-amusement-park-after-falling-off-bench
  20. I heard a bunch of cartoon characters ran the place! Which one is the lead detective on the case? Mickey, Mini, Pluto, or Daffy?? In all seriousness I hope they catch the guy! I thought that Mickey, Mini, Pluto, and Donald ran the White House. Lol.
  21. They were also going to add a few new coasters too when the park reopened. But that hasn't happened yet. They could of bought Big Dipper.
