I went to the park the only year they reopened in 2002 for an ACE event. The park was busy. Not sure why the park wasn't kept open after 2002.

I know the last time i looked, King Cobra's trains were in FOF's building.

After Winterfest sunk, Kings Island used alot of the old theming from that for The Haunt one year. They even went as far as to have a drunk smoking Santa walking around. Lol.

An outsider with new ideas? I hope it isn't a person who has no background in running a themepark company. You get a person in the ceo role who has no background in themeparks, and you are asking for it. I'm betting that the new person that Q wants will more then likely let the company go down hill. Mr. Kinzel made Cedar Fair what it is today. If it wasn't for him, Cedar Fair may not be around. Since his employment agreement ends on Jan. 2, 2012, Q may want to wait till then to get a new person in or risk a lawsuit. If Mr. Kinzel signed a contract to stay till then, he can by law sue if he gets fired before his contract runs out. I've seen many contract issues where a person get's fired before it runs out and it ends up bad for the ones who fired the person. My guess is and just about everyone else's guess is that Mr Kinzel has something big planned to be built for the 2012 season.

There was no shooting in the parking lot. There was, however, a nice little riot during the event. The next weekend was canceled because, "The DJ was unable to make their flight." The weekend after that, the event quietly disappeared. I think they actually did two of the five scheded events. Does anyone remember what it was called? Off the top of my head, I can't... The news reports told different. I'm still waiting for all of these news reports about a "shooting" in KI's parking lot. The shooting at Dominion was during a private event too, so I don't think they were doing Xtended Play that night, but that could be wrong. The only thing i can tell you is to ask the Mason Police. But a police report can only last so long in the system. That's all i'm gonna say on the subject.

The Haunt was out of hand the first year they changed the name. All it will take is someone suing the park because they got hurt or beat up by some people for them to make major changes. I remember when they had a friday night party thing years ago in Action Zone. All it took was a shooting in the parking lot to make them stop that event for good. I do have to say that i been to Halloweekends and to the Haunt. Halloweekends is way better. But i do go to Kings Island in Oct. I just go on a Sunday.

You should of been to the park the last day of the season about 6 or 7 years when they had a bring up to a certain amount of people for free if you were a season pass holder day. I had heard that day was a record breaker for most people in the gates.

Just in the last 10 years i found that if Six Flags doesn't want to put money in a park or if it's been destroyed, they sell it. Just look at what happen to SFNO. And how many of the old Six Flags board members made millions off the side on company's they already owned?

You won't see him. Cedar Fair has no ownership of GWL. Lol.

Don't forget the GWL in Sandusky. Lol. I don't like one of the ladies at the desk too well at the Mason GWL. I asked her are they going to be doing day passes anytime soon. She gave me a response, but it was a very rude one. I told her all i did was ask something simple. No need to be rude.

The WWE has a parental advisory about not trying this at home. But yet, the parents are mad that the child does what the wrestlers do. Lol. It's on the parents rather or not they expose a kid to stuff like this. Besides, this is entertanment. Lol.

Some lady at the Diamondback gift shop said that Vortex was 400 ft tall. I jumped on her real quick. Lol.

By law, if the game company used his name and likeness without his ok, then he can sue.

It doesn't help none that almost all of the Winterfest stuff is now part of the Haunt. Lol.

Winterfest was cut after the first year due to not making any money. I was told by a park manager that the park lost money. It doesn't help that you have The Beach Waterpark doing a christmas fest too.

If you want to see bashing and rude ass people, go to Geauga Lake's old park site. It's set up like PointBuzz. Man, the people in there would make the devil look like an angel. Lol. A few of the admin. on Thrillnetwork are the same way. But they back off when they are beat. I know on here, i seen one KIC member who had some sort of beef with ACE and i called him on it. He got mad at me when i asked him what his problem with us was. His avatar had American Dumpster Enthusiasts on it. My guess is that he got kicked out of ACE for doing something bad. The forums here are better then most sites i belonged to.

My eyes read the stories. I only seen a few things good. The rest bad. I'm not changing my mind.

Sandusky is in trouble money wise. They tried more then once to put new taxes on Cedar Point. The red light cameras are a way for Sandusky to make money.

If Flight Deck is very thrilling, then what does that make The Cavs? Lol.

Kings Island should of got Big Bad Wolf. Name would of went nice with Great Wolf Lodge.
