I'm very mixed about the addition. I've been waiting for a new roller coaster at Cedar Point. To me, none of the additions since Maverick have been that exciting. Knowing that this will be the longest wing rider is great since the others seem to be a little short. I am sad to see Disaster Transport go. My family goes on a trip to Cedar Point once a year. While my Mom doesn't ride much, she loved Wildcat and Disaster Transport. While these weren't my favorite rides, I enjoyed getting to ride them with my Mom. Now all that remains is Iron Dragon for her to ride. While I'm sure that the ride will be great and may possibly become one of my favorites, I wish it wasn't at the loss of one of my Mom's favorite rides.

Looking at all the updates with pictures of the demolition, it is amazing how a water filled lake can be quickly changed into a sea of dirt.

Great to know that it is open for Memorial Day weekend! I'm planning on going Sunday to visit Soak City and to get my 100th ride on Diamondback!

I remember when they had the fast pass like tickets for BLSC from before it officially opened. I loved riding it with my dad and it is one of the rides that started my fascination with roller coasters.

How was the new river and wave pool?

Is Firehawk an early entry ride? No it is not, but if you get to the rope before the "drop" you are sure to walk to it and not have too long of a wait. I did this once and got on the first train of the day!

To me, Firehawk is a fun ride, yet not worth the long wait that is almost always present. I would give it a 7, while fun at first, it lost its charm on me after the first few rides. While it isn't rough, the final flip into the brake run can be rough on some. My shoulders tend to hit the restraint a little bit at that point. Other than that part, the ride is very secure and worth a try.

That's disappointing considering the always long wait for TTD. If it does make quite an increase, it may possibly lead to a change. While I support Fast Lane, if it raises the wait time on one of the park's star attractions by a large amount, I would hope the implementation would be different.

If this is correct, isn't it sufficiently increasing the wait time? Depends. How much is sufficient (enough) for you? Terpy, good at answering the query asked. Significant for me is when the line would have been 1 hour and is increased by 20 minutes or more.

I noticed from reading other trip reports, that TTD has the first train in the station allocated to Fast Lane while the other is standby. Is this true? How did it effect the line? I would imagine a 1 train in the station for the regular line to greatly increase the wait time.

The new sign is great! The waterpark entrance will be much nicer than it was as BB.

Even though I have turned off the pop-up blocker, I still get the error that there is a pop-up blocker blocking the window at the redeem rewards screen. Anyone else have this problem?

I know it's 11 through 7. I will be there, can't wait to experience the new waterpark.

What exactly did our model have that the others did? I know about the shock absorbers on each arm, but that is about the extent of the changes I know of.

So far, I have only put in my pass and my Dad's. Even though we both visited Friday, it says he did, but I didn't. Also, when I checked my profile, it said you have to be over 18 to get prizes. I'm not sure if that means I'm not eligible for anything, or if my Dad has to redeem them. I will be very disappointed if you have to be 18 to earn anything.

I'm not sure if this is new in FoF or if it was added during Haunt last year. Since most of the time, the switchbacks aren't open when I ride, it was the first time I noticed it. FoF after last year's Haunt is the best I have ever seen it. Plus, I got a ride with the lights on yesterday!

Just signed up too! I too got a free drink wristband! For the amount of times I go to the park, this is a great perk for getting my pass!

I was in the Festhaus when I heard the (now infamous) strike. Loudest strike I've ever heard, seemed to be drawn out too. Nature truly is amazing.
