  1. I'm glad to see the price of Fast Lane and Fast Lane + get higher and higher as I think with the perk you get with it, it should be high enough that no everybody will want to push up the cash.
  2. You mean like the one that was shown being built by a worker not too long ago? http://instagram.com/p/lS7huMuON1/
  3. I wonder if Invertigo's "malfunction" got painted. The sign.
  4. I wonder if nets will be installed at the dive-loop
  5. I'll take an Intamin pre-fab over a RMC
  6. "Approximately" Hahahaha An oddly specific number to be following after the word "approximately"
  7. Do that, and ride on media day with the shirt on.
  8. If Gatekeeper doesn't have any sort of textured lighting.. then it will be more in that way.
  9. This is more exciting than the Return of the McRib. Classic comedy. XD Do we know what Banshee's lighting package will look like yet?
  10. Generic, non-shooting haunted house for the win!! At least in theory.
  11. Did anyone see the webcam capture with human legs at the bottom??
  12. He's one of the luckiest men in the state. That's who he is.
  13. I mean, that's just because it has been done; Nick was gone. I still think Peanuts isn't a very relevant theme for kids. This movie doesn't make me and many presumed other opinions change as to whether the Peanuts was the best decision for a kid's area theme. It probably wasn't in CF's effort to get this movie to be made, but this is happening well after the Peanuts came to Kings Island and other parks, it doesn't affect whether it was a good or bad (insert other grading) decision; just makes it lucky.
  14. I would disagree. I'd guess somewhere around Diamondback's lift hill incline.
  15. Oou cool! Boy bands get a bad rep as far as how cool they are, but honestly, I looked up some live performances from a few groups and it looks like it could end up being entertaining. It's like this theme (boybands) was born to be performed at Kings Island... Even if many grow tired of music revues, I can't image much point in a story based show in a place where people eat. The shows in there are watched intently by some, but many just enjoy, or ignore, the music in the background and occasionally watch. Now the International Showplace.. that is a place that could welcome a non-music revue in the future. Though some seem to be pleased with its 2014 show returning upon guests' popular demand.
  16. I hope that a video is going to be released soon *hopeful*
  17. You're on topic, don't be sorry! Certainly feels like talking about "Banshee Construction Progress" is off topic lately though..
  18. Can't help myself. I have to bring up this For Better or For Worse comic strip that I've always loved: *scroll up for picture* This, as a cashier, is extremely awkward, and even if you ask to make sure they are of a certain age or not, which you should do, they will still get upset often times. It should be souly the senior's responsibility to read the sign about the discount and then to ask about it. Many seniors may be cool with it and understand that the kid is instructed to ask and sometimes assume a person's seniority, and some may be excited to save a few bucks, but many also are insecure and will passively change their attitude or will snap on the cashier... Sorry, that was just a little too close to home, that comic. -- Back on topic. I'm very glad to see this being done, this means, if Kings Island still has Snoopy in 2015, which would be ludicrous if they didn't, this will vastly help our kiddie land. As long as the movie is well received, which it probably will be concerning the producing company's track record, it could help Kings Island with a brand becoming more relevant to kids nowadays. Though, I'm sure many of the viewers will be adults, reliving their childhood or trying to introduce their child to a character they so much loved. (i.e. Toy Story 3, which had a big appeal to 18-30 yr olds (give or take) because of the people who grew up with it)
  19. I was crushed by the normal top spin restraints personally... but in the stomach I'm assuming you get crushed by Delirium's restraints too then? I, for one, don't understand these crushings by ride restraints.. #SmallPackageDelights
  20. I don't think Banshee is THAT close to roads for it to be an issue.. If somehow we got a package of those sorts..
  21. I honestly just took my best guess, hence the quotes.. That was just the earliest I can remember actually noticing them. *shrug*
  22. Appeal to ethos. Though, I've heard of harnesses that accommodate people without certain limbs etc. The park most definitely is covered as they have postings on their website stating that they require riders to have the ability to brace in addition to needing to have a functioning leg. https://www.sixflags.com/sites/default/files/docs/park/ada-guidelines/ADAGuide_SANA_0.pdf (see page 6) - Great that he is a war hero, much respect to him, and I think a full refund would've been adequate for him alone, but given his condition that he is responsible for in his life now, he should've had the curiosity to see if he would be allowed to ride things. It took me all but 1 minute to find the above posted link; an additional 45 seconds to find the print about rider's required abilities to ride. The ADA lists specific guidelines to follow and have regarding riding restrictive rides. It is his responsibility to check his abilities before spending the money, though, as I've said, I think a full refund wasn't too much to ask. A story, biased one at that, is unnecessary. At the least, he could've called the park for a conversation to get the information he needs.
  23. Since '08 (give or take a few years) and on the first drop, "the bridge", and the drop into the double helix.
  24. Speaking of the Education Day program that Kings Island provides... It reminds me of my experience with that when I was in my physics class... It was "Formal Friday".
