Diamondback's 1,000,000th. I believe the individual record currently goes to Darlene Bell with over 500 rides.

It's a gimmick coaster. I've made better in RCT3.

Uhh...so a major waterpark gets 950,000 guests in 9 months and that's past their attendance goal, and yet Diamondback has over 1,000,000 rides in just 4 months? Jackson, confused....

That move was rather easy though, considering that particular ride was designed for Paramount's Kings Island.....

Careful, if Behemoth and Diamondback are any indication (And I'd like to think they are), then I'd think not. Some could call Diamondback essentially a mirror image of Behemoth, they have about the same number of hills and a hammerhead and 2 helices, others would disagree. Behemoth has a simpler layout then Diamondback, Diamondback has a splashdown, goes over midways, yada yada yada, and is quite different then Behemoth. I'm sure Cedar Fair will add something similar, but certainly not on the border of cookie cutter! But, I do wholeheartedly agree with one part of your post. They will, enjoy it VERY much!

Son of Beast can run 3 trains, I believe. But do they have the 3rd G train to use?

Like competing with a 300 foot steel gigia by adding a 200 foot woodie?

As much as coaster enthusiasts would like there to be one, there is no "Ride addition schedule" that parks have or anything. They don't add rides every year, or a major coaster every 3 years, or a new area every 10 years, if I'm right they for the most part do it by ear. For example: If attendance is starting to drop they make a 3 or 5 year plan to add some major rides and coasters. If attendance is high then they make a 3 or 5 year plan to do other things, such as food and merch, kiddie areas, etc. The economy also plays a major factor. In 2007 when the economy was good, Cedar Fair decided to build a new B&M Hyper Coaster. A year and a half later when it was finished, the economy was in the toilet. So now they try to stay away from large investments for a while. In short, you can not expect a new coaster every 3 years or a ride every year, or any of those schedules.

Cedar Fair is crafty, but not THIS crafty you guys! Just tone things down a bit, you are reminding me of a lame "Who done it?" story.

^I'm with you on that one, and feel the same way about the KD giga. I think it is way to convenient that you can see the label, clearly saying "Intamin Giga for Kings Dominion 2010". It seems like it's too easy, like they set it up to look like that. But, that's Kings Dominion. This is Carowinds. On with the show!

The 2 flips are taken horribly slow, you can barely feel them.

The tallest....fastest......meanest coaster......ever to strike Kings Island!!!!!!!! I just love all of it. The entire trip is fun from beginning to end. I love all the rides and atmosphere of the park. And, of course, This beautiful piece of steel artwork.

Umm.......have you seen the queue? It's horrible compared to what it was before. They changed it because they had to. And the new entrance, again, because they had to.

IMO, I see Crypt gone next year and possibly Son of Beast.

^No. Coney Mall is old time themed, a duel coaster would ruin the atmosphere.

What a horrible review. It seems as though this person is just finding things to yell at, as if he just can't stand being around other people enjoying the park.

^^I must disagree. Diamondback at night is nothing short of amazing. While it is awesome during the day, at night, it redefines the term "Thrill Ride". IMO, of course.

I've heard strong rumors for a B&M Hyper. I wouldn't be surprised considering KI this year and CW last year, plus there has been rumors of a Carowinds hyper for a while.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cedar Fair signed a multiple ride contract with B&M, Behemoth then Diamondback, and maybe one of the 2010 investments? Similar to Busch and the B&M Dive Machines Shiekra and Griffon.
