    New Coaster?

A FACTORY OF COOKIES FOR YOU!!! Is this your sole purpouse on this board? To just hand out cookies? Do you plan on actually contributing to the discussions at hand, being part of these forums, or just being a post hog and give cookies to people who contribute?
  2. I would like to see the box gone, just gone. It's quite an eyesore, and with the box gone then the potential for what can go there increases dramatically.
  3. That is the Scorpion model roller coaster from CoasterDynamix. CoasterDynamix was the same company who did the model of Diamondback last August. http://www.coasterdynamix.com/storeitem.aspx?item=12
  4. Interesting to say the least. In 2008 they get Behemoth, the biggest ride in all of Canada, and in 2010, another major coaster?
  5. Added 4 to my count today, now at 25. 1/4 there! *3 out of my 4 rides today were backseat.

    New Coaster?

I would love to see Backlot gone (Though I doubt it), and the antiques back. A Mega Lite, while it would fit perfectly well there, would ruin the Coney Mall atmosphere.
  7. Thanks for the great PTR. It's good to see some different parks on here, especially one like Beech Bend, which gets hardly any attention at all! A shame, too, it's such a fantastic park.
  8. I'm glad that this is happening. Six Flags has been doing business poorly for quite a while now, and now here in bankruptcy they can sort it all out and come back strong, and do better business. Sell off some parks, reorganize the company, and they'll be good to go.
  9. If I ever had to get a tattoo (Which I wouldn't voluntarily), then it would be the Millennium Force logo. Millennium Force may be my #2 coaster, but the logo is very subtle, unlike Diamondback.
  10. Top Thrill Dragster, according to ride ops who's names I don't know, won't clear the top unless going about or over 121 mph. Depending on train wieght, weather conditions, and the varying speed of the cable pully, the train's speed can change drastically. When they say 128 mph, I would bet it can change between at least 125 and 131.
  11. Sundays in October are empty. I mean, empty. Most everything is a walk on or near so.
  12. Which explains why they had cranes ready to pick them up and take them off the trucks, why they sat there for several days before being moved, and the big cleared area out in the back of the park. Please, this is getting very old, very fast.

    New Coaster?

The only 3 woodies from Geauga Lake were Villain, Raging Wolf Bobs, and Big Dipper. The first 2, I believe, were sold for scraps. Big Dipper, lord, who knows.
  14. RUMpumpumpumpumpum......... Jackson, because that one just nevet gets old.
  15. What do I miss most about Paramount? Nothing.
  16. Either way, I now feel tempted to go to Kings Dominion next year, maybe time to pull out the Washington DC Vacation?
  17. I didn't know Premier had any intentions of building a giga?
  18. NOW the guessing game can begin. This doesn't look like any coaster type I've seen at Cedar Fair, no doubt it's gonna be a new ride type to the chain. From the looks of that track, it looks like Premier or Maurer Söhne, probably Premier, but I haven't seen Premier track like that before. Possibly a new ride type all together? I thought Cedar Fair broke their addiction to prototypes, but this might be one. At least we can quiet all the "It's a Giga!!!!!!!" discussions.
  19. I broke 20 yesterday, I now have a total of 21 rides on the snake. That means, by the way, that Diamondback is 18% of all my rides in 2009. If you count Test Seat rides, I'm near 50. Diamondback was down yesterday and I had to compensate
  20. Oh, well I WAS going to put this nice big ol'Intamin here, which even though it may not look it probably uses the terrain in some manner or form, but you know, I'd rather have it at Carowinds. Wanna new coaster swap?
  21. At Cedar Point: Mom, with child in hand, points to one of the 8 coasters visible from that angle of the park, and says "Look, honey, a roller coaster!" At my house: Brother: "You don't need a darn coaster fix!"
  22. Again, I would absolutely LOVE lapbars on Vortex. As much as I love The Vortex design, the otsrs are extremely painful, for me at least. I would always like to see a ride modified before removed, giving it somewhat of a chance. Then again, if the modified version is worse then the original, get rid of it. (Crypt)
  23. I can't blame them! All these parks are so hard to remember, there wasn't and Island in Cincinnati, a Berry Farm in California, or a King in Doswell! Because, it's easy to mistake a Kingly park in Virginia with a Windy park in Carolina! Please. That wasn't even a nice try.
