"AIRtImE" to be exact. Perhaps the capitalization is a part of the clue, or perhaps not.
-
KI not strict about enforcing the rules? Imagine that!

They'll stone you when you're tryin' to be so good.... --Beatle, having memories of rainy day women....
-
I have said the same thing myself. They also don't have a slingshot type of ride, which would fit the Stratosoar name nicely.
-
I was wondering the same thing. Judging by the name, I'm thinking he might be a rapper.
-
Yes, they could call it "Cookie Cutter".... I'd rather have 5 very good cookies. Then why would you want a B&M? God forbid we get something like Vortex or Intrimadator at Carowinds, Superman, Ultimate Flight at SFGAd, or Great Bear. Or god forbid we get something like Diamondback, or Kraken, or Dragon's Challenge, or Raptor, or Dominator, these are just the ones I've ridden! So what you and I are saying is that with B&M, we have about a 50/50 shot at getting something decent. But seriously, as long as the hypothetical coaster isn't nearly identical to half a dozen or so other coasters that we've all ridden at other parks, I would be happy!
-
But the two that exist are at Busch parks, where the themeing makes them seem much better than they would be with CF's traditional them....you know what I mean. But, if they could come up with something new and different, I would love it!
-
If it was new and unique, I would have no problem with a B&M! But if it was like the ones I mentioned, I would prefer something else.

Yes, they could call it "Cookie Cutter".... Or we could get another Arrow Megalooper called "very similar to, but inexplicably more painful than, any other Arrow megalooper you've been on." And really, look at GASM, Vortex, Anaconda... No matter which was their first, most always think the others are more painful. That's just how it works! That isn't possible. Lest anyone think it is.... --Beatle, who understands what you're saying but doesn't want others to think that Arrow still exists

I've always said that the cities where parks are located should make it illegal and line jumpers should get the equivalent of a speeding ticket. The fine money would generate revenue for the local government and reduce the line jumping problem.

I went to Jersey for the first time this year. El Toro was disappointing, IMO. The ride ops staple you and the ride is short. It has some nice elements and it is by no means a bad ride, but it doesn't come close to The Voyage, as far as I'm concerned. You will have to let me know what you think after you ride it.
-
The Voyage is my favorite roller coaster. I love being sore after a day at Holiday World. --Beatle, who has spoken of thrills many times, but would not characterize GCI's as perfect. (Just kidding you! )
-
Have you ridden any GCI's? IMO, they're the ideal company. Reliable, relatively inexpensive, not to intense but not to mild, and just plain fun. That's what I would like to see at Cedar Point in 2011. A beach side GCI woodie. Yes, yes. I would like that a lot. I have enjoyed the GCI coasters that I have ridden. I really like their trains. But they are not among my absolute favorites.
-
Why are people hung up on who makes a ride? Majority of visitors to a park have no idea who builds rides all they know it is fun and ride. Honestly the Gp for the most part does not care who builds it. Ask any unsuspecting patron at KI who made The Beast or even DB and I bet the answer you receive is KI. A very good question! A good ride is a good ride and a poor ride is a poor ride, regardless of who makes it. And many disagree about which rides are good and which ones are poor. --Beatle, who is not a fanboy of any company

Terpy would suggest the Comfort Inn in Huron, but we always stay at the Red Roof on 250 near the turnpike in Milan. It's a few miles away, but it's inexpensive and has an indoor pool if there are weather issues. -

Hopefully none of the injuries are serious. -
OFFICIAL! Son of Beast Will NOT Operate in 2010

Or, perhaps.... --Beatle, who honestly has no idea, but theorizes a lot..... -
This was a very special time for me... Thanks for the memories!

The spot where the train entered the station is blocked by plywood and a fence. Couldn't see the side of the station where the trains left. -
We need to watch what we say, lest screamscape may begin posting rumors that Chevy has entered the ride manufacturing business. LOL! --Beatle, who, for what its worth, drives a Ford

I wasn't expecting an announcement today. Snoopy's Birthday and the announcement of a new thrill ride are geared toward different segments of the park's patrons. And it only makes sense that management would want two dates, each of which are designed to draw more guests to the park, as opposed to doing both on the same day. And I join Terpy in being surprised that the cookies were free.
