I agree completely. I've seen several things this year that are distressing. "Modified ride operations", closed food locations, Robbie Kinevel calling me trying to sell me a season pass I already have..... But the worst is the seemingly complete absence of enforcement of the park rules!!! It IS, as you say, a matter of simple respect and most people don't need park rules to follow what should be common sense... CF needs to get its act together in this regard... When we were there Friday, I actually thought, "If Cedar Fair runs all of their parks this way, no wonder they're in debt."

Either or both answers were fine. Thanks for the responses..... I need to go to Vegas again. Hard to believe its been 10 years.....

And the empty train was sent onto the lift hill so that the third train could enter the station and be unloaded.

They do that every night that there are fireworks. They stop the ride at 9:45. I believe that they walk the track to make sure no sparks from the fireworks land on the wooden structure and create a danger of fire. Then everyone in line gets to ride. I always like the last nightime ride on The Beast and find the walk through the empty park with my kids to be very peaceful.

So, The British government is imposing a controversial tax..... You would think they would have learned about the consequences of that in the 1770's......

Well then make a mental note: They should have a phone, they should have a job, they should have transportation, they should be sane and should have a place to live. Those are the vital things. One thing I've found about dating in your 30s is that when women my age are single, there's usually a good reason for that..... LOL!! And, to get back on topic, she can't be into making out in que lines....

Some women don't have phones...are they thus ineligible to be your companion? It's been so long since I had a girlfriend, I think I've forgotten what my standards used to be. I work and raise kids now.

The clothes thing really doesn't bother me a whole lot, but the making out in line is out of hand. I even saw two girls making out in a line a couple of weeks ago.... I agree that I have never made out in a line and never would. But in order to get into that position, I would have to find a woman who was actually willing to give me her phone number...

And there's more to come.... This year my kids, who are 8 (this week) and 9, have discovered that they can scare teenage girls (who are scared to begin with) by keeping their hands up on SOB. Maybe I've gone too far..................

Spoken like someone that's never ridden it. Yep. The backwards loop was really cool....... And an incredible feeling when the train drops off the return platform and into the loop. Yes it was. I think the kids and I will have to take a little drive up to Fun Spot sometime this summer... They have several rides similar to defunct KI rides. I think the kids will enjoy it, as much as they ask me what KI was like when I was their age.

The White Water Canyon may be a bad idea. On A few, Albeit, rare occasions Ive gotten caught up on the ride bumping into other riders and got jarred pretty hard. It was actually fun, but wouldnt be for a pregnant woman. But, Standing on the platform by Congo Falls is a great way to cool off when It gets hot in the park! Sponge Bob's Bikini Bottom Bash would serve that purpose as well.... Just don't take your cell phone....

Just out of curiosity, if 3 of the trucks are under the landing ramp, how is he "jumping" them? Great pictures though, looks like you were there today about the same time we were...... Sadly, I will miss the event tomorrow. Had to schedule my son's birthday party with the family because several of them will be attending another "event" in Indianapolis this weekend.......

I have a very common name and get other people's debt collection calls all the time. Sometimes it can be fun to mess with them a little when they start their harassment and don't confirm that they have the right person.

Well, as for roller coasters and KI, I took a few years off from coasters when mine were babies and missed them (coasters, not the babies), of course,.... But the last two years (they are tall enough now for the 48 inch rides), riding with them and rediscovering the feelings that I had as a child, as they discovered those feelings for the first time, have been wonderful......... You will experience that too, I hope, and its even better than what WE did as children.........

Yes. Screamin Demon ran approximately parallel to the rear of Timberwolf. It was then at Camden Park, where it was (according to nearly unanimous internet opinion) poorly maintained by that park's former owners to the point that it had to be scrapped. There is a virtually identical coaster at Fun Spot in Indiana, though. As for The Bat's footings, riding Vortex on the righthand side gives you a great view of them if you look down while going up the lift hill.

That area is an eyesore. I've said that on these boards many times..... It's one of my few pet peaves about the park. Especially with the Red Racer running forward, the view of that area is awful, in my opinion.....
