  1. To bad? To where? Terpy, who is beginning to wonder, are you giving me gifts on purpose? Dang it! How many times just today have I been Terpied? My proofreading eyes need to be kicked up a notch. You know how that is!
  2. That was very, very cool. To bad I'm cold! (couldn't resist) I saw that a minute ago and saved it for you, Terpy. I knew you could find something much more clever to say, and you didn't disappoint...unlike SoB, who tends to disappoint me at the mid-course on a very consistent basis.
  3. Yes, they do make mistakes. I won't be officially peeved until it's a repeat offense. Flyer, who isn't as big of a PITA in person.
  4. Yes, that's Brad. Also, I have heard a certain relative of yours using the "full train is a cool train" recently.
  5. I have to mention a certain former Cedar Point employee that will greet a returning train on The Beast with, "Welcome back train 2, how was your ride? Yeah...don't care...they pay me to say that!" Or my personal favorite, "good....get out!"
  6. I finally had to time to vote in this particular poll, and I can't let this go. There is NOT an S in The Racer. The Racer is The Racer. There is Blue Racer and there is Red Racer. Occasionally there is a winner on The Racer. However, The Racer, no matter how you put it, never has an s on the end. Flyer, who is easily peeved by this.
  7. It depends on the day. Either secure sandals or my general Wal-Mart athletic shoes.
  8. This also is why I look forward to the opening of Boomerang Bay! Nice illustration, by the way!
  9. I also teach math and I'm licensed in science at the high school level, so I'm well rounded enough for many things to make sense. Flyer, who is highly amused at the moment.

Of course you had to. How about I just say, it seems that those who have posted in this thread have been very pleased with the level of enthusiasm The Beast's crew.
  11. One?? Uh...there's more than one.
  12. This phrase from you, Terpy??? I just give up! (not) You also reminded me of what I tell high schoolers that are concerned about how safe coasters are. My response to them when they ask if I'm worried about them flying off the track is always "you have a million times greater chance of being in an accident on your way there than you do to fly off the coaster."
  13. "Many" definitely includes me. It's almost as annoying to me as the pointless trim at the turnaround...but everyone on here seems to know how I feel about that!
  14. And please keep it that way, as some of us now have an uncontrollable urge to ride it. The music draws me in...and I have some of it on CD myself, which is always fun and amusing. Flyer, who is into Halloween.

Sounds like you're all as complementary of Beast's crew as I am. I'll be sure to pass that along, as I'm there frequently. 103 rides this season and counting!
  16. I heard that from The Beast today I'll give Kat the credit for the idea, but I'm completely taking credit for starting that at The Beast...though I won't say how. For the record, I also heard a certain person from Beast say it today too. I was highly amused for a multitude of reasons.
  17. I can't seem to resist riding The Crypt anymore. They put that AWESOME music in the queue and it just draws me to it. Besides, it's just as thrilling as waiting in line for Viking Fury, so why not? Sure the new program is way less fun than the old, but enjoy it while you have it just the same. Come on, guys. Just look at the positives. Flyer, trying.
  18. I have often referred to Beast rain rides as rides on the world's longest water ride. I have noticed a certain supervisor of The Beast also likes this statement.
  19. Everyone seems to like to pick on me lately because the coaster I've ridden the most is also the most trimmed. Beast08 and TopGun1993 certainly had fun teasing me this evening as we were riding a few rides this evening. What made me laugh the most was Beast08's suggestion that we ask them to turn the trim brakes off on Drop Tower. I think those brakes are okay...they pass the flyer inspection.
  20. That would be The Beastie, and it's also my vote. I have yet to ride Little Bills Giggle Coaster since no one will ever let me ride it.
  21. Believe me I see your point. I just wanted to say something positive about it for a change. And I DO LOVE that music. Flyer, who prefers not to take sides unless trims are involved - then, see signature.
  22. Well, since everyone is being mean to The Crypt, I'll say something positive. The music going into the cave and in line this year is awesome! Actually I have some of it on CD for Midnight Forest, which is my haunted trail. Three times now, that music has drawn me into the cave. I'm still not sure what's up with that, and I'm still enjoying the ride itself, just not nearly as much as with the previous program(s). Flyer, who is easily amused.
  23. On ride photography is strictly prohibited on all rides here at Cedar Point. Please put all cameras and cell phones away at this time. (I'd love to see them try and make me all the way at the top of Dragster.) Flyer, who will deny he ever said that, and who does follow such rules during normal circumstances!
  24. I still didn't swim, but I decided that I really wanted to at least go over there. I people watched and relaxed a little, and the rain didn't set in until I was at the Backyard BBQ, which I thought was a highly appropriate time for such an event. I did, however, have a Boomerang Bay employee squirt me with a water gun. That was rather funny!
  25. I can answer for Mark in this case. Yes, that IS the only thing he does. I see him there all the time power-lapping it. Sometimes I'm surprised when he's willing to stop to talk to me for a minute or two. Personally, I prefer to do other things as well, and I'm really enjoying taking a little of Terpy's advice and spending some time just wandering around the park, hanging out, relaxing, and just enjoying spending time there. I went to the water park today just before the rain and just walked around people watching, and then relaxed for about 15 minutes or so by the wave pool. That was very refreshing. I might also add that I have enjoyed meeting many of you while at Kings Island, and making new friends is quite the pleasure. My casual riding has led me to 36 Diamondback rides so far, and while that isn't all that many, I'm okay with that. Flyer, who has 90 on Beast.
