I feel like height doesn't matter...I could see the Eiffel Tower/Diamondback walk. If I'm not mistaken, I believe I read somewhere that after this tour he was planning a Grand Canyon walk.

Why would they put anything in like Delirium or The Crypt? If I'm not mistaken, we already have those exact rides....no?

OK...here are some ideas that I have: Let's redo The Crypt so that it fits into Rivertown with the Tornado theme I, and others, have mentioned. OR install a Mystery Mine-esque Euro. Give Sonny some PTCs and, maybe, figure out how to put the loop back without killing it, also retrack it. Give Vortex some new Vekoma trains. BUY ME A GCI LIKE THUNDERHEAD Repaint Flight Deck, rename it, and add some theming and effects. While we're buying paint, lets get some for Invertigo. Press the undo button in Nick Central. Bring Beastie back and rennovate it. Put a flat in Paramount Story. Get rid of Thunder Road or whatever those go carts are and install a B&M floorless like Dominator or Invert similar to Raptor or Silver Bullet. Turn the 50 ft. deck on Eiffel Tower into a restaurant. Buy Eiffel Tower a lighting system similar to that of Millie's supports. Give Xbase a Screamin' Swing, bathrooms, and shops. Either fix BLSC's effects and do something with the Corrugated steel look on the tunnel. OR completely remove it and put in an Intamin Mega-lite. Put a 3D Phantom Theatre in Action FX....or remove it. Spend whatever's left on general improvements. Obviously some of these things could be used interchangably as 100M will not cover it but there you go.

^ I still wish they would theme it to a tornado and give it another ride program that mingles with theming like that of TR:TR

^I said this a couple years ago when Diamondback was a rumor. I have always wanted KI to get another standup but those rides were, indeed, kind of a fad. I personally enjoy them, and I think with some newer innovations it would be a great addition and a big hit with GP. But, sadly, parks aren't really interested anymore.

Dude...it is. So, Nightmare isn't spelled EXACTLY how you have it, AND you just put a space in it the second time, AND you think RIVERTOWN has a jungle theme.... HMMM....

its called trim brakes O:) lol Not the part I'm referring to. I don't remember exactly where, but one of the hills after the hammerhead seems really rough. (or maybe there is a trim at the place I'm thinking of - I'm curious now, and I'll have to check next time!) I noticed what you're talking about...I think you mean the bottow of the helix...it is a little rough there. Also, one of the little things I noticed was that the back of the season pass refers to Halloween Haunt as Fearfest. One more thing. There are some footers on the left side of the train right as you go into the woodsy area. They're on a corner. Does anyone know why?

I was there yesterday also! I thought the DB water was getting kinda grungy too. I was also line jumped by a 40+ man and his 10 year old because I was taking a picture of the Box o' Treasures, (BEST THING EVER). I looked at my girlfriend and said excuse me but I was kind of standing there and walked around him. I also have a complaint about a Delirium ride op named Tyler. It took him ten minutes between the time a sat down and the time the ride started because he was goofing off, talking to friends, and trying to be cool making Darth Vader noises with the loudspeaker. However, other than that, I had a great day yesterday, and hopefully more to come as I upgraded to a Season Pass yesterday!

I voted First Drop. Nothing is better than that drop in the back seat. I rode it 2x opening day and both were back seat. Best floater air ever! The drop out of the MCBR, at least in the back, comes a close second. Oh, and I remember not so long ago, someone saying that you cannot get wet on DB. Well, anyone who's ridden in the back knows that at that rate of speed and the perfect wind conditions, you WILL get soaked...trust me.

I don't really see where BLSC really fits in with the Coney Mall atmosphere either...actually...I don't really even notice BLSC from Coney. I think it would be a great place for a coaster of that type.

I agree that we probably wont see a new coaster for quite sometime...however... When the time does come, I would LOVE to see an Intamin Mega-Lite come to good ol' KI. It's too bad that BLSC is sitting where it is. It belongs in Action Zone and is taking up some prime real-estate. That would be the PERFECT place for a coaster like a Mega-Lite. (For those of you who don't know see Kawasemi or Piraten)

Terpy knows more about rollercoasters, thrill rides, Kings Island, and just the amusement park industry in general than a majority of the other users on here combined! You should really learn a little more about forums before you post instead of joinging and bashing people. I, as well as many others, have learned a lot of things from The Interpreter and he is basically our own Nostradamus...any and most things KI Future he knows. So, that being said, you may want to pay a little more attention to the forums that you "read for a year". Now, run along to your home park of Geau...er... Six Fla...er... So, I'm heading to the park on tuesday and was thinking about upgrading my ticket to a season pass. I was just wondering if there were any perks that came with just the regular old season pass. Are holders allowed into ERT as well or is that just gold and above? Any info you can provide would be awesome. I searched the forums but couldn't find what I was looking for. Thanks!

GAH! i was just there on friday and it was down. As well as every other Intamin ride they have a some point. However, the others were usually up and running in a matter of minutes. Nevertheless, it just doesn't feel like a Cedar Point trip without that ride on Millie!

DARN IT! I was going to take my dad but prom is the ninth!!! Hope everyone has fun.

FANTASTIC! Best airtime on a coaster ever! I only had to wait 45 minutes both times I rode it. We ran straight to it and found a line all the way back to The Beast. A park official said like 6 hours....it was three at most. But we decided to skip it anyway. When we came back the line was just barely past the entrance, the attendant said 1.5 hours but it was only 45 minutes. I also got soaked on that splashdown. The first time I was place in the very back and the wind was blowing just the right way and I got drenched. Also, the trims and MCBR were fantastic. The trim was barely noticeable and the drop after that MCBR was amazing due to the fact that it barely slowed the train. But one of my favorite parts has to be the layout. The way it goes out into the woods all secluded and then comes back to the midway with all the guests watching and then that spectacular splashdown all made for an amaing ride. Diamondback is one of my favorite coasters if not number 1. But, on a side note, the park was excellent. There werent really that many people there...my longest wait was an hour and a half for Firehawk. I only saw one person smoking out of place, and when I reported a group of girls screaming and cussing and bumping into people and even punching random guests, park employees acted quickly to remove them, (Especially after one of the girls flipped off the bar and smacked her face on the ground and proceeded to remove the blood with her dirty sock due to the fact that she wasn't wearing shoes.)

I just really hope that the weather doesnt cause a CRAZY crowd. What time during the season would you say opening day is normally equivalent to

Not when I get my tickets for 25 dollars. I never said I'm not getting one indefinitely I just know I wont have one on Saturday. Exactly! I love being a Kroger employee!!....sometimes.

That was a filler for the first week when it opened....and it was awesome! Seriously, the ride program is AWESOME. I *LOVE* the new Crypt. It's intense as hell, and there's always something different or new when I ride it. (Pretty regularly) I could careless if they added theming. Epic fail my ass! You don't have to have theming to have a great ride. Notice that I said my opinion...which did, indeed, mean my opinion. I'm sorry, but I prefer the fully emersive ride it was to Dark Box: The Ride anyday though it does provide a more intense and fast paced thrill.

So if I have a single day ticket that I got from my union for like 28 bucks and wanted to upgrade would I pay the difference of that or the difference of a full price ticket and a pass? Also...do regular season passes count in ERT or just Gold?

How does one upgrade and what would that cost?
