I spoke with the guy who designs rides for all of the Paramount Parks. I mentioned the new Vekoma cars - and he said he had never heard of them. He took out his Palm Pilot and jotted down a note about it and said it sounds cool and he will check it out. So who knows...

With the old head of MTV now in charge of Paramount - I would see a retheme to soundwave more than possible.

Assuming that 10 is the best - I give it a six. It is a really good TopSpin.

It is a themed roller coaster ride where you have to dodge traffic and a helicopter that shoots at you. It helps if you have seen the movie. The story is that you are a stunt driver auditioning for the movie - and this is your test.

What is good and what is bad? Lets do it this way - rate TRTR, then rate TRFF. TRTR - 10 TRFF - 6 TRTR wins!

Ok - thats a little harsh. I wouldn't really do that - but I can guarantee that if my attempts to politely ask you to put it out failed, security would deal with you.

It will happen if Holiday World decides to do it. Anything is possible for the right amount of $$$. Don't get me wrong - I do hope we get another big coaster. But with SOB in 2000, and IJST in 2005 - I think it will be a while.

Adventure Express may be no Top Thrill Dragster - but I like it, and I know alot of people would say they do. You don't need to be extremely fast to be really fun.

Well apparently we are talking about all flats, just not old school ones. TRTR all the way!

You would drive up from KY to go just for Winterfest? I would definately go every day if TRTR and FoF are running. But I am sure the Christmas stuff is fun too.

TOP GUN is a lot of fun at night as well. Dunno why - it just is. I hope they have the drum lights off this weekend.

Why - because I haven't been brainwashed into believing that The Beast isn't overrated and really is a good coaster?

I wasn't into theming until this year - when I actually rode our two themed attractions - Flight of Fear and Tomb Raider The Ride - and now I have to say that Theming is great. After riding TRTR, SOB and Tex just don't do it anymore... I would like to see a Jump2. HUSS Giant Rides - Collect all three! If not a Jump2, then a small Intamin Rocket Coaster themed to Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan.

Ive rode The Beast at night, during the day, in dry weather and in the rain - it really isn't that great no matter when you ride it. My very first ride on Beast was at night - and it was pretty cool. But when it was over - I went back to Vortex for a few more rides before the park closed.

I know it is rare to have the lights on - but I have yet to ride with the lights off!

I will be there all day both days. Maybe I'll go say hi to Lonnie too...

Favorite flat that's still around? To me this implies old school rides. So I would say Troika. Delirium and TRTR are new - so of course they are still around!

Tomb Raider: The Ride Delirium Flight of Fear Vortex Son of Beast Slingshot TOP GUN Shake, Rattle & Roll (aka Troika) Racer South FACE/OFF Racer North Beast The yellow ones are my favorite - with TRTR the best ride in the park. The yellow and silver are my favorite five. The orange are honorable mentions. The rest are ok rides. Yes - and I have to say - Beast pretty much sucks. Sorry.
