Cool link. I think it is a good improvement for the Flyers. They will get alot more attention down there, and they got a good facelift. I hope to be able to check them out when I am down there sometime.

Would it be cool - yes. Would it happen - no. The reason Disney and Universal have those is that they want to keep you in their park at all times. They give adults something to do after the park closes. They are open all year round and they want people to go to Orlando, and just stay at Disney or Universal. The parks even have shuttle service that will pick you up at the airport and take you straight to their park! PKI is seasonal, and a family park. It just isn't big enough to want something like this. Maybe after the lodge is built, and PKI has developed about half of their remaining property, and the park is open year round - then maybe we will see something like this. But not any time soon.

It was finished in September, and was ready for the public at the onset of Fearfest.

Brad I was wondering about that myself. The trains should be Blue, Red, White, like in the Movie - it was Croker, Bridger and Handsome Rob / Left Ear. Perhaps one Blue and two Reds were all that survived the explosion.

Dont forget that PKI knows what it is installing for the next three years. They aren't going to hold off on plans until they find out whether or not they are selling.

I rode Son of Beast in the rain once. It started raining when I got to the top of the lift.

It is on now. 7-8 pm. I recorded the whole thing. Its over in five minutes. On next is Waterparks 2005. I am going to tape that too. I think they may show Holiday World...

I know its not painted. What I am saying is that there are stripes on the track where the paint gets worn off. This happens on all tubular steel rail coasters. Intamin takes extra measures to protect theirs.

I gotta say - I like what PC has done to the Flyers. Hopefully Ill get to go down and ride them sometime. Whats a Flying Dutchman? Isn't that a Vekoma Roller Coaster? Actually - BORG Assimilator at Carowinds is a Vekoma Flying Dutchman...

Without question - Son of Beast. Son of Beast can eat all the rides at PKI and still be hungry enough to take out HW... Sorry - I had to say it! But - really - Son of Beast is my favorite.

No - there are silver lines on the top and inside of the track. They are where paint has been rubbed off. You cant see it everywhere - just some spots. Intamin goes the extra distance to paint white lines on their track - where the wheels are going to rub it off! Oh - and BEST SIGNATURE BANNER EVER! ↑

Oh God - don't get me started on WWC! I love the ride - but I think the shortest wait I ever had on it was like 1:15! I don't think it will be a long line on opening day though - too cold! There have been times that I would not get in line for Beast because of the line. My first ride on Beast I waited about 45 mins. But then again - I wanted to ride in the very first seat. And there were several lone riders in front of me.

Maybe the silver he is referring to is where the wheels have scratched off the paint...

The Beast... Everybody always wants to ride The Beast... Sheesh - when will these people realize that Beast is just a warmup band for Son of Beast?

It is hard to use the search all the time. Especially considering it searches the PKIU and PKIC posts. I mean - if you do a search for Vortex - it will take you a long time to sift through the results!

They don't look that much alike. I guess they could be drawn by the same person. But I doubt it.

Yes - when I first heard about it - and the pending removal of the Tiques and Scooters I hated it. Now - I think of it as a trade up. The Eagles were good, and I will miss them - but bring on IJST!
