Um, Dueling Dragons is two. I can see Racer being taken either way - and personally I see it as two. If they turn one of the Gemini trains backwards like I heard they might - it will be two in my book as well. But Dueling Dragons has no question. They share a lift. That is it.

Well, one could postulate that he used to be from around PKI - but moved. He will be back in the area around the time PKI opens because of a business trip, and is going to swing down for opening day. And he wants to meet up.

I was thinking about doing that this Saturday when I go up for training - but didn't know how legal it was...

Well put Boddah! If all you like is dropping 300+ feet at a hundred miles per hour, then CP is for you. IJST will be relatively low in G-force (though it will have some good spots). However the expierence will be incredible. I am particularly intrigued at how the cars will actually fishtail around corners and move up and down on the stairs. That will be really cool.

And that my friends is why I didn't apply for Skyflier - though I could have had a pretty good job there. I think they still needed 10 majors when I applied!

You talking about that "Partial Birth Abortion" plane? That was sick. Regardless of my beliefs on abortion, I have to say that that does not belong flying around a family theme park!

It's not a rumor about PKI - but I heard once that somebody supposedly got stuck upside down in a Arrow Dynamics corkscrew ride! That is totally impossible!

Its transparent and hard to read. It took me a while to figure it out as well.

The Dans Choice skin is cool. Its more of a purple. Or maybe the brightness on my monitor isnt high enough. Im getting kind of tired of the IJST skin - and thats pretty bad cause I helped develop it! It would be really nice if it had more blue in the purple - and used the IPB2 buttons instead of the IPB1.3 buttons. The lime skin is cool too. I think its a good idea to have them seperate. It allows the main site to concentrate more on PKI - and put the extra stuff in here. Good job Dane!

PKIU used to have that. And my site will most likely have it too - once everything gets set up. Its simply a PHP script that allows people who are in the IPB member database to post reviews. The only thing is - as far as I know - there is no way to moderate it. Another way to do it is to have a topic for each ride in the forums and to do an SSI export posts-by-topic. But it would be a little tricky. I know my site will definately have it though. Since it is a Theme Park and Roller Coaster Review - people need to be able to review theme parks and roller coasters!

I agree. I mean PKI is one of the least covered parks! We really gotta be concerned about this new site taking the thunder from the PKD and Carowinds fansites! That's where all the action is at! Actually its kind of a good idea, kind of a bad idea. Anybody remember XPP - eXtreme Paramount Parks - a subdomain of Coasterbuzz? It went under because even with contributors from each park - its simply too much for one person to manage. What is needed is a sort of webring or network of Paramount Parks that work together and all feed into a central site that covers all of them.

Heres a good one! That the entire penninsula of Cedar Point is sinking because they have too many rides! I mean - its not like those footers go down deep into bedrock or anything!

It more than likely would. If Rivertown became Star Trek : The Final Frontier, Beast would still stay The Beast - they wouldn't change its name to Romulan Ale! So Beastie will probably be the same. Top Cat's Taxi Jam - that is another question.

Yeah, they probably could have put it behind FoF, adjacent to the Rosebowl. But it kind of works where it is. Sure they had to remove the Flyers and Tiques, but life will go on. There were a couple other places they could have moved the Flyers at PKI (like the FC platform) - but they didn't. So chances are - even if we got nothing this year, they probably still would have gone.

I hope they don't. Something Paramount should realize is that not every single attraction needs to be themed to a movie. And they should be careful with theming too. Adam's Family would make an OK dive machine. The Core would make a freakin' awesome dive machine. So what do they do? Put the idea out about a possible Adam's Family dive machine. And Face/Off. What does it have to do with the movie Face/Off? NOTHING! They even named their identical ride at PGA Invertigo. Why can't ours be Invertigo or something? Well Son of Beast was cool. It is a great ride - and Paramount actually laid off the theming for once. If it was named after some dumb movie - it would make it much less of a cool ride. I say leave the basketball games alone.
