I think PKI is doing a good job so far. They have designated smoking areas as well as restricted drinking patios. There are responsible people out there who still enjoy a cold one when there spending a day at the park.

Not a bad deal at all when your doing with friends. I doubt I would pay that to take my family. For that price I could almost get a season pass for CP. They did a great job with the theme though.

Another ride removal rumor? I will believe it when I see it.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. I haven’t made it up there yet. I would much rather visit the one PKI is building or the one there doing right here in Columbus. May I asked what it cost you?

With the smoking ban going into effect today here in Columbus I would love to see it happen at PKI. At least give them isolated smoking spots away from the rest of us. Smokers are some off the worse litter bugs around. How many times have you seen someone just flick one after there done. As for the beer issue I happen to enjoy a cold one now and then inside the park while the kids are riding rides. You are always going to have unruly people inside the park. I say get rid of those basketballs. I get tired of those kids bouncing them all day.

Amen to that. All aboard the pain train. I am going to take some advice from some other riders on here and try and ride it relaxed. Hopefully it will keep me out of traction this time.

I know I have said this before but CP is lad locked. It is a huge challenge to add a new attraction up there. On the other hand PKI has plenty of room. The sad truth for those CP fans is it’s only a matter of time before PKI has more coasters.

I understand do to staffing shortages it is nearly impossible to theme uniforms. I remember when CP made all the employees wore those short uniforms. Those were the good old days.

More shade! More themeing, better landscaping.

I loved the ride. I just wish they would have cleaned the glass. Is it just me or was that just nasty riding by that mess.

It still amazes me to see people slam a ride that hasn’t even been finished yet. If it was a flat being built they would be complaining it wasn’t a coaster. Blah blah blah see ya at the front of the line on opening day.

I agree, what is with the 70’s colors. The teal color brings back bad flash backs.

Ya just have to love a great road trip. Especially when the only goal is riding rides!

That is a very interesting proposition. You should have been more specific and said due to a ride malfunction.

The merry go round was disassembled and looks as though it was being repainted. From what I could tell from the tour the slime zone was all there still.

Anyone else feel like there in the game Frogger when they cross the road that cuts right in the middle of the parking lot?

I’ll tell you one thing they need to add. More entrances for strollers and people with disabilities.

There seems to be a ton of roller coaster experts on here. How many coasters have you "experts" built? That’s right, what was I thinking. Leave it to the pros and stop speculating. From what I gathered at the tour the coaster stays pretty much at ground level. It should go up pretty fast once the ground work is complete.

I’m a big guy and never noticed any problems. It did take my breath away when you entered the bowl.

Who cares what another park is getting if we have something like it?

They failed to mention all the great perks a season pass has to offer. Not to mention no mention of the new ride. My guess, and this is just a guess is that the Nick Party House will be an inside eatery. Perhaps with live characters and mini shows with Nick cartoons and shoes in between.

That was one cold tour. I am surprised that nobody mentioned the speakers that are going to be inside the cars. They also mention three were going to be something under the seats that will rumble. Now if that doesn’t impress you I don’t know what will. It was too bad we didn’t make plans to get together as a group and take a photo. I had no clue who anyone was.
