Wow...a company P&G's size only has one accountant? He must be REALLY busy I have to be honest...sometimes reading this site is a true exercise in restraint I think you know that she very well knows that her brother isn't the ONLY accountant for P&G. However, if anyone were to leak it out, it would have to be the accountants. ...and, hence the emoticon used in my post. She wrote something that struck me funny and I indicated as such. Nothing personal was meant by it. My comment about restraint wasn't related to the accountant comment...it was related to the sudden "logic" that exploded in this thread that P&G has bought KI without any evidence or support other than an innocent comment made by the orginal poster that his friend's dad (who happened to be the one who told him PKI was for sale) worked for P&G. Funny thing is, I told someone who wasn't aware yesterday that PKI was close to being sold to a new owner...I also happen to work for a Fortune 200 company. But, suprisingly that doesn't mean that the company I work for is buying PKI. (Or, does it??? ) Oh well, so much for the restraint... I just happen to work for a fortune 500 company... I can't even imagine if we bought it, I would so change my career path! -adam12

I find it VERY interesting that about 80% of what you all are listing in one way or another is putting the park back to the way it was pre-paramount... Don't get me wrong I LOVE your ideas! It's just that you guys praise paramount but yet what you would change are the things they have done. If that makes any sense... -adam12

It really is too bad Elvis Presley isn't still kicking... He really loved people and cared about them. If we put him incharge of the detail and direction of the park and a great business man like Ross Perot incharge of the cash, we would have a lot of fights on our hands, but a GREAT product!

Most of those rides you mentioned are fairly inexpensive to buy and run compared to others... They could be recreated with today’s technology and be put in Coney Mall to honor the original Coney Island! -adam12

I know what we need! We need an owner with some mystery and some awe about them. You know, the kind of person that creates the atmosphere that makes people wonder. With a corporation, you don’t get that. I haven't thought of the right person yet, because there aren't that many people that have billions that have much of a passion for entertainment and a heart for people. I think that we proved all of the myth's about having a great deal of money behind a corporation being good for the parks. Hell, if there was any corporation that should have been able to utilize these parks with their money it should have been Paramount. I'd rather see a smaller group take the parks over. Do what they've been able to do with the likes of Dollywood. I'm not sure how many folk remember Dollywood pre becoming Dollywood - but it was a dump. Now I don't think anyone can dispute that it's a huge draw and a fantastic experience. I didn't even realize a park was there before Dolly... I thought she built if from the ground up... I love history like that. O MAN! I just has a thought! What if Alan Jackson or George Strait got a hold of it? I know George wouldn't because he is in Texas. But you are on to something! They need some musical talent in the park and someone that knows the business! They could have local bands/singers from all different types of music. We could have Nashville Star and American Idol have auditions there! They would pull people from 5 major cities. They could rebuild the Timber Wolf theater, build it so the roof opens up so they can still have outside concerts, but have it set up to accommodate 20,000+ people and accomidate events like American Idol. That way they could AMUSE more people! Kings Island= AMUSEMENT PARK! The Ideas are endless! I would so love to own a place like Kings Island; they need to have publicity stunts like they did when the Brady Bunch filmed an episode in the park. Not only make people want to come Kings Island, but make them feel it is a MUST see over and over again! -adam12

I wish I had about 2 billion, I would buy all the parks and then sell them all off except for Kings Island. Like I said before I want Kings Island to be an experiance you can't get anywhere else. Just like it use to be, and have it be its own thing! Don't give me BS about how a large corproation will put more money in it! They won't put any more money in it than what it is bringing in, any owner can do the same thing. They are in it to make money, not run up debt. -adam12
