Lets say if I were Bill Gates, I were to buy a place like Kings Island. If the place had a good reputation, I would not announce any change in owership. Infact, I would spend money to keep it quiet AND make the previous owners sign a privacy agreement. A place like Kings Island is a one of a kind that can't be experianced any where else, at least that is how it use to be, Paramount is making it like there other parks more and more every day. -adam12

I would like to know if you all remeber the letters on the Kings Island Sign being red like I do. I remember being very upset that Paramount bought Kings Island, because I knew they would change MANY things. The Park use to be a lot cleaner and did not seem to be a Cookie cutter park, it was one of a kind. (Like the custom trimed bushes in Coney Mall and the painted asfault in the front entrance.) If that makes any sense. If you think about it, the sign might not have fallen if it would not have had that Paramount part on the top of it. It was not designed to have that extra height and weight. -adam12

The letters that read "Kings Island" on the sign in the parking lot were RED before 1993. When the sign was changed to accomidate the new Paramount addition on the top of the sign, the letters were changed from RED to BLUE. -adam12

The Beach's Wave Pool is much bigger than PKI's. The waves at the Beach are about twice as big. -adam12

I HATE waiting in line. I only go to PKI in early Spring and late Fall. I go when the park opens, no later than the middle of MAY, and for Fall I normally go between the end of September until the park closes for Winter. There are MUCH fewer people there! As much money as they bring down, they should have "backup" power. They could even make a little money on the side by selling it to the power company. They could at least have backup power for the rides. Not to run them, but just enough to get the trains back to the station and get people off the rides. Posted by adam12 on 08-15-2003

I keep checking the webcam to see if it is back up yet. I get dissapointed every time! It has been down for almost 10 months. I like to check it at work to make the day go faster and maybe day dream a little. Please let me know if you all know anything about it. -adam12 :-)

It really depends how they setup the new water park. If PKI requires that all the people that want to go to the Water park pay the same fee as everyone else in the park, I do not think so. If they want to compete with the Beach than they need to make Water Works a seprate park with seprate charges. I Think it would really put a hurt on The Beach Water Park if they made Water Works a seprate park from PKI. I think they should put fake cameras in all the line's. They do not know if they are being watched or not. Low cost solution. Maybe have a few of the cameras set up just incase people find out about the fake ones. -Adam12 (Posted on 08-04-2003)

I think they need to improve what they have before they add new rides. I would like to see ONE GREAT RIDE and then take care of the rest of the park in 2004. They need to recondion Face Off, AE, DZ, Racer, and the blacktop. Everything needs a fresh coat of paint. I heard after PKI put money in the 2 rides they put in this year and the fountain, they did not have money left for other park improvements. Things like blacktop and recondtioning rides like AE and Racer. Hope to see that in 2004! -adam12

1.) I would like to see the blacktop redone all throughout the park. 2.) Everything needs to be repainted. 3.) Parking lot re-blacktopped. 4.) Custom shaped bushes around the fountain and in Coney Island. 5.) Other entrance to the Antique car ride re-opened. 6.) The Kings Island Marching Band brought back. 7.) Winter Fest for 2004! 8.) Adventure Express remodeled and themeing brought back. 9.) Feshaus Shows brought back. 10.) International Restaurant brought back. 11.) New sound system throughout the park. 12.) I would like to see Stand up as well as Facts about PKI, I think on the rides that you have to wait for 1.5 to 2 hours they should show movies all the way through or at least have what ever they are running last 2 hours with out repeating. You know, so you do not have to watch the same thing OVER AND OVER AND OVER!!! -adam12
