  1. Very much so >.< I refused to ride Drop Tower until my friend talked me into it. Now it's a must-ride. Although I admit that the ascent scares the daylights out of me.
  2. I'd like to go but April 11th is my 18th birthday and I have an appointment to take my driving exam at the DMV in Hamilton at 10AM. I'll expect PTRs
  3. I've never been there. I may have to take a break from KI trips and head over there once this summer. Gotta head to CP at least once as well...
  4. What? Not getting a snide reply from me? Gigglesnort! I'm fairly sure that the majority of the KIC population has realized that no amount of miracles will ever prevent snide replies from you
  5. The Incredible Hulk at Universal Studios: Islands of Adventure
  6. Biblical proportions? No...that's much too small.
  7. Well they may have improved it in recent years. I haven't been since the 90's...Lol.
  8. No kidding! I grew up in Florida riding those buses around to get between parks/water parks. Not only was it a complete and total mystery where you would end up next, or how long it would take you to get to your destination, every ride was like a miniature version of the "Guests say the darndest things"(Spelling?) thread we have here at KIC.
  9. Haha, I got the text and came here as fast as my little computer could go. That looks amazing, April 18th needs to hurry up and get here before I start going into coaster withdrawal.
  10. I've been trying to lose weight as well, but for entirely different reasons So far I've dropped from 211 to 193, but I have to be under 181 by August to ship to basic training and my personal goal for myself is even lower. I still have alot of work (and alot of Subway no complaints there) ahead of me.
  11. Let's not and say we did... I would settle for a long term CF reign of power. I'm sure Mr. Falfas will do his best to make the park the best it can be. The nickel man should be retired by then, correct? Agreed. I'm quite happy with the way CF has been running Kings Island.
  12. I kept waiting for this to end up like one of those pictures where it gets you to look really close and concentrate on it and then the posessed girl from The Exorcist pops up and scares the bejesus out of you... I've fallen for those quite a few times
  13. This may be the longest running thread on KIC...Well, the longest running thread that still has some discussional value Back on-topic: No, I don't believe that King's Island is haunted. Nor do I believe in ghosts. However, if when I die, I do become a ghost, then King's Island would definitely be my preferred hangout
  14. Awesome It'll be my first "First Rider" shirt, assuming that 10k people don't manage to get in line before I do...
  15. I'll most likely be hanging out with Kjkjkj and anyone else from KIC who decides to meet up there for the vast majority of the day. I highly doubt that there'll be a short wait time for Diamondback even though we'll all be there at around 8AM, so we'll probably end up waiting in line together. And if not, i've downloaded a few movies that i've never seen and put them on my iPod so even if i'm in line alone i'll have something to keep me occupied so I don't get into trouble... But after that first ride on Diamondback (Hopefully with my "First Rider" shirt in-hand) i'll be spending the rest of my day as a typical day at Kings Island. I'll be coming home and reading the mass amounts of trip reports that will inevitably flood KIC's forums And I have to buy a new camera so I can add my own to the mix...
  16. I'm not sure exactly how early I'll be there but I'll definitely be there well before the rope drops so we can hang out. I'll be the bald one with khaki pants and a random band tee-shirt
  17. Yeah, same here. I almost lost my wallet on Firehawk last year, and as I was walking away from Face-o...erm, Invertigo, somebody's phone flew out of their pocket on the cobra roll and hit my backpack (Luckily my backpack took most of the impact and the phone's battery simply fell out when it hit the pavement) That was what made me start wearing zipper pockets. I love my stuff (And Invertigo, for that matter) too much for that to happen to me.
  18. The day before opening day I make sure to go out to Wal-Mart or something and buy a couple pairs of pants that have at least one zippered pocked for my iPod, camera, and phone. Every morning before I go I usually hop on KIC just before I head out the door and see if anyone is going that day. In some cases (I.E. The time I was stuck with my friend's annoying, weak-stomached stepsister all day) I'll post asking if someone wants to meet me at the park. And I always toss a lightweight breakfast (Usually some random cereal bars) in the bottom of my backpack under the BB change of clothes so I can eat on the way there and not have to worry about throwing up on the first ride, and so I can eat later in the day without paying the ridiculous prices for food.
  19. I don't even know what Spirit Song is, but I know that Skillet is amazing
  20. Me too! No day at KI was complete without Spongebob
  21. That sounds awesome. I would've killed to have been there, only band I'm not particularly fond of is Buckcherry. The songs cuss too much for my liking.
  22. I wouldn't pay a penny >.< I have no problem being patient and waiting for all the people who can afford it to go first. But I won't be riding on opening day anyway, I have better things to do than wait all day for a coaster where the only attraction is going fast.
  23. But didn't you get an email to set up an interview? Yeah, but I didn't get the job. I'd rather work somewhere closer anyway XD Ohh I'm sorry for bringing it up. I hope you find a great alternative. Oh shoot, it's fine. It'd cost me too much in gas to get there and back every day anyway.
