  1. They say that if you have a falling dream, if you actually hit the ground in your dream, you'll die XD My little brother lives in constant fear of it, it's kind of funny.
  2. Oh really? Thanks for the info ^^ Me thinks I need to take a trip to Coney Island.
  3. I'm not exactly sure what the name of the ride is, but there was one at Americana/Lesourdsville Lake that was a ferris wheel type thing with enclosed gondolas that had levers that controlled how much the gondola would spin as the whole weel rotated... I know I don't exactly paint a descriptive picture, but I was very young when I rode it so my memory is a little hazy >.<
  4. It's the off-season. Every ride at KI is missed!
  5. Yeah, me too. The mazes scare the crap out of me cause I have a real problem with tight spaces...But I digress. It really sucks that I won't be around for the haunt this year
  6. Yay a nice person that wouldn't run away with it! That is pretty weird though. At least it didn't hit you in the head. I wouldn't have minded being hit in the head with it, I've definitely had worse, I'm just glad my backpack was able to stop the phone from hitting the pavement and shattering. I lost a phone or two that way before I got smart enough to wear cargo pants with at least one zippered pocket to amusement parks. So...Yay for KI's rediculous food prices that force me to bring a backpack with sandwiches in it
  7. Uhm...All wierd things I've done at KI excluded, i'd have to say it was the time when I was walking away from Invertigo and the cell phone of someone who was on Invertigo flew out of their pocket during the cobra roll and struck my backpack. Luckily I was able to take the phone back in one piece and find the owner ^^
  8. All right. Gas will be more than that this summer but it's not like I'm not going to be driving out there most days anyway XD Thanks to you both for the info.
  9. Well, I'd be driving. And I'd probably do about 30 hours a week, if I can even get that many. It's becoming very difficult to get work anywhere at the moment, I've had to resort to working at the local jr. high school as a janitor.
  10. Not trying to hijack your thread, but it seems silly to take up forum space with another question about employment at KI. I'm considering working at KI this summer, but I live in Trenton so it's a decent drive to get there. I don't expect alot more than minimum wage, but will the pay be enough so that after I pay for gas I'll still have a decent amount left, or should I opt for something a little closer?
  11. I forget exactly which picture, but you can see part of me in a picture of Firehawk on visitkingsisland.com. Most of me is blocked out by a support, but I know it's me cause I see my midget friend in the next seat over ^.^
  12. XD Mines the 11th. I'm just delaying the party until opening day and going then What kind of kid opts to have his 18th birthday at an amusement park?
  13. Terpy, who just HAD to
  14. That looks intense! I can't wait to ride that
  15. I would, but I'd spend too much in gas driving from Trenton to Mason every day, lol. So I'll just work in Trenton and go to KI every two or three days like I usually do XD
  16. You know you're a KI Addict if your username is Beast1979....
  17. Well, seeing as how we're not allowed to have our phones on us at all, whether the power is off or not, I figured I'd be better off with the passing gas excuse I'm fairly fond of my phone. And...still waiting for the verification text XD *Taps foot*
  18. I'll be there for sure! I wouldn't miss a chance to see KI in January XD Nevermind, it's sold out If someone would sell me a spare ticket I'd be highly appreciative.
  19. Yes, that's quite embarassing. I actually managed to convince my teacher that it was just me passing gas once...Still amazed at how well it turned out, lol.
  20. I'm not sure. I'd love to know though. In the time it takes me to process my new pass the que for DB will probably be filled.
  21. True, but it won't be the same experience. Opening day at KI is different from any other day.
  22. I actually LOL'd Somebody should try to organize an unofficial KIC get-together on opening day '09, which I believe is April 18th, correct me if I'm wrong.
  23. Wow, that's ever so slightly obsessive man I can't wait to see the mad rush for Diamondback once the gates are opened. And the knowledge that I'll be right there in it only makes it seem that much better
  24. Yeah, I get a warning message when attempting to log in as well. But all I have to do to get past it and get onto the forums is re-type KICentral.com into my browser and re-enter the forums. And yeah the site is running slow but that's cause I have two computers and a PS3 all drawing internet from the same crappy wireless router XD
