  1. I'm going on Saturday. I know the crowds are going to be hell on earth, but I get the opportunity to take somebody to KI for the first time in her life! (She's 17 ) So it's all a fair trade Expect a juicy TR when I get back.
  2. This man speaks the truth ^^
  3. I'm right there with you on that one. I love riding it but as it pulls us up I'm always freaking out. It's not bad once you hit the top, or even when you're falling, but I just hate being pulled up.
  4. I'll be going to HH my first time this year as well Hoping to get a decent idea of what to expect in this thread.
  5. The line for Firehawk is one of the few places where it pays to carry one of those portable fan/squirt bottle things you see Tourists with so much in the summer.
  6. The Beast is a good coaster, don't get me wrong, but nearly three hours to ride it? There's no way I'd be able to do that, even if it was for a night-time ride.
  7. Oh yeah, it'd be a gorgeous sight without a doubt. Can you even begin to imagine the view of KI covered in a sheet of unbroken snow as seen from the Eiffel Tower?
  8. Ah, I thought it was the whole weekend. Guess I should've read a bit more before I jumped to conclusions, lol. But to answer your question (With my own half-baked analysis of course) I don't see why they wouldn't be performed. These days are regular KI operating days like every other day in the season after all.
  9. I highly doubt it. Your best bet would be to get ahold of GWL and see if you can change your reservation date.
  10. Couldn't agree with you more...unless you replaced the movie with my favorite PS3 game =O
  11. Yeah, I know. I may be wrong here but I figure that most people will go Saturday rather than Sunday so it won't be QUITE as packed.
  12. Honestly I think it should be replaced with a Ferris Wheel (Seriously, what kind of decent theme park doesn't have a Ferris Wheel present?) But that's just me. Anyway, I'll be going that Sunday (With someone who hasn't been to KI in 12 years!) in an attempt to avoid as much of the crowd as possible
  13. Lately I've seen gas dropping, slowly but surely. Every morning as I take the bus to school I glance at the gas price at the local Gas America, sometimes on the way home from school it's changed as much as $0.05 in either direction, although on one freak occasion I did see a 20 cent drop, which I'm guessing was a mistake in putting the prices up.
  14. Justin, I live 3 hours away from CP and I've been there 5 times this year. I get up at 4 am, get packed, showered and ready, and I'm on the road by 5 am to give myself plenty of time just in case I hit construction or a traffic jam, stop for food or gas, etc. I get in at 9 am with my platinum pass so I'm usually one of the first ones in the lot around 8:15 am. I wait by the gate until 9 am and then make a mad dash (not joking, I actually do run) for my precious Millennium Force, which usually ends up being a walk-on that early! The drive home is kind of depressing, but that''s the only downside. There has been times when I didn't make it home until almost 3 am. But the CP experience is well worth the drive, trust me, you won't regret it. I was being truthful when I told you that no POV or photo does their coasters justice. You won't believe your eyes when you look to your left while driving over the causeway and see how huge their coasters really are for the first time. It's something you have to see for yourself, there's no word to describe the feeling. Honestly I figured I'd be getting something like that from you Lol. I won't be getting my Driver's License until April (I can't seem to find work to pay for Driver's ed, so I have to wait until I'm 18 and don't have to go through it anymore) so going to CP isn't going to happen until then. Somehow I just don't see my dad agreeing to getting up at 4AM on one of his limited days off, driving three hours to take me to a theme park, then driving three hours back home (He can't do theme parks, bum heart) and then, hours later, repeating the six-hour round trip to get me back home.
  15. Terpy – I hear you there, I am getting ready to plunk down $150.00 to go to Universals Halloween Horror Nights VIP tour and that does not include admissions to get into the event. The tour takes four hours, with up to 12 people in the tour. I would much rather pay more for a tour than only see a few haunts in a long conga line. I think if KI had this a KICentral members could organize a group to fill up a whole tour group itself. I just think it would be a way for KI to attract and make some extra money from some of us who stay away at night to avoid the crowd I'd love to set up something like that but somehow I doubt that whoever is in charge of such events at KI would treat a suggestion from a 17-year old boy with any amount of seriousness.
  16. Unfortunately Cedar Point is too far away for poor old Justin to bother buying a pass. Trenton to Sandusky would take a few hours, and that would mean having to wake up EXTREMELY early in order to experience the park the way I like to do with all parks I go to (Inside the park from the moment the rope drops until the moment the security guard ejects me from the park) And then I wouldn't get home until the AM hours =[
  17. All right, cool. Thanks for the info ^^ I guess I'll try this again when October rolls around.
  18. Yeah, any idea when the Haunt begins?
  19. This thread isn't turning out to be as popular as I expected it to be >.<
  20. Due to reasons beyond my control I was unable to attend the second coming. I was wondering if anyone would be up for organizing an impromptu "Third Coming" day during the Haunt. Obviously it wouldn't be recognized by KI as an event like the last one, but it would be cool to get everyone together again and experience the Haunt If I get enough interest in this idea I'll see what I can do about putting this together.
  21. I speculate that I will be there at least once, and I will be scared to death of the clowns. >.< My friend (Who practically lives at KI) says that some of the "Monsters" carry around chainsaws with the chains taken off so they're scary, yet completely harmless. Is this true?
  22. Oddly enough KI was under-attended yesterday if anything. The only rides I spent more than 10 minutes in line for were BLSC, The Crypt, and Firehawk. BB was more or less a ghost town, everything was a walk-on except the slides at the front of the park where you need to use the mats. I don't know the name
  23. Honestly I've never seen a rule against running enforced in any park I've been in.
  24. Anyway, back on topic, I'll be there today Rcfreak. I'm wearing khaki cargo pants, a Nirvana tee shirt...I have black hair and a "Carpe Diem" tattoo on my left arm. If you happen to see me come over and say hey and we'll ride a few rides XD Hope to see you later. Well everyone, I'm out of here. Expect a TR
