All the same i'm still going there as soon as the ERT begins. I'd rather get it out of the way early and spend the rest of the day riding the other rides.

If I wasn't going to Kings Island i'd be falling asleep halfway through the day. But considering the circumstances I think i'll be okay.

I doubt it. I'm scared to go to sleep to be honest. I tend to sleep through any and all alarms I set so i'll probably take a nap here in an hour or two and stay up the rest of the night until it's time to go.

I figured i'd end up calling the park on this one, but it couldn't hurt to ask here first and see if I can save myself the hassle. Thanks

One of the reasons i'll be at the park at 6AM tomorrow is so i'll have plenty of time to get my new gold pass processed before the park opens. But I only have my '08 gold pass so I don't know if I will be charged for parking or not. Would the people working at the front gate let me in if I showed them my '08 pass or will I have to park at the guest drop-off, walk up and renew my pass, then go back to my car and bring it around into the gold pass lot?

This may be a stupid question but i've never been to the park on opening day before so I don't know. I know that Boomerang Bay probably won't open until later in the year, but will Congo Falls and WWC be open tomorrow? It'd be nice to know whether or not I should pack a change of clothes for these rides ^^

That and the slingshot are the only two rides at KI i've never been on because I never bother to bring money to the park. I haven't read through all 18 pages of this thread, so i'm sorry if this question has been asked before, but how will we prove that we're a registered member of KIC when we go to sign up for the event?

As of now i'll be going at least once every weekend. Once I get my own car though i'll be going as often as I can afford the gas money to get to Mason and back.

I'd love to run the Diamondback 5k but sadly I ship out for basic training on August 4th I hope everyone that participates has fun though.

As far as I know there weren't any bring a friend free days, but I think on Mother's Day and Father's Day you could bring 1 guest per passholder at a cost of $10. I may be wrong though.

The only time i'll actually wait more than 15 minutes for a ride on The Crypt is when it's extremely hot outside because the cold quene line really helps. Same with FoF.

Woot! Another person who likes the Crypt! I enjoy the ride, despite the lack of theming, because the line is usually short and the ride is real fun, and you get sweet shots of Diamondback from the exit! Not to mention how refreshing the cold quene (Spelling?) line is during a hot summer day!!

Realistically i'm shooting for two. One during the ERT and maybe one more at night before close.

I'm going to see what I can do about getting a KIC shirt. I haven't been able to find work though so I don't know how i'll be able to do it. If nothing else i'll find a plain white shirt and take a sharpie to it, lol.

I've always wanted to try it, but i've never had a chance to. Not that i'd know how to go about doing it anyway...

Yeah, the one day I was at the Haunt I noticed that the fog was WAY too thick. I was there watching my younger brother and his friend (I really don't get into scary stuff like this) and while walking down I-street it was nearly impossible to keep an eye on them. Pity I won't be around for the Haunt this year...

It will most likely be unrealistically crowded, but the bad weather forecasts may cut down on the amount of people to go on opening day (As if that'd stop anybody on this site from going...)

I'd just like to see all the spears in the first tunnel before the lift hill working again.

I would actually be very happy with weather like that on opening day. EDIT: That's the spirit, Giga! We've been waiting too long for this day to let a little rain screw us out of it
