  1. I am for all of that. I would love to see actual theming return to the park and Octoberfest and the Festhaus are the perfect place to start because it is an absolute mess. How about some german music/dancing in there as well rather than a country music show.
  2. I like the front row. I don't think I have ever rode that one in the very back.
  3. The way I understood it was that 2010 Haunt was free with Gold and Platinum but not Blue. Is this correct?
  4. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/tele...tvbriefs03.html I watched that one last night. The Voyage is also on it towards the end of the program.
  5. how about at least some german food and music in the Festhouse. Pizza or Chinese with a country show just makes no sense in there. It could be a really fun place to eat if done right.
  6. It would be sad for me to see it go. My preference would for it to be modified and re-opened but if SOB is never going to re-open please just knock it down. I hate seeing things SBNO. I know it cost money to dismantle something especially as big as SOB, but if the park is tired of the headaches and bad press and feelings over SOB leaving it SBNO is not going to take care of that entirely.
  7. You do realize this is the Son of Beast discussion thread, right? Or did the software here put your Beast ERT reply in this thread instead? Terpy, who KNOWS that some of his replies have sometimes (not often) ended up in the wrong thread due to some kind of computer glitch That is strange...must have been one of those glitches. You are right it was suppossed to be in The Beast ERT thread.
  8. Haunt is included with your full day admission.
  9. I am going tomorrow so I hope it is open on time then, but I have to say that to me it does not seem to run as well in the morning. Might just be me, but for some reason I feel it to be a little rougher and a lot slower than rides later in the day and especially night.
  10. I was planning on going Sunday. Will the Run really increase the crowd?
  11. That may be it's "Native American Name."
  12. I have never been to Coney, but Dollywood has some fast bumber cars.
  13. This one is my current Wallpaper. I am not sure why I like it so much.
  14. http://www.buschgardens.com/BGW2/Corporate...il.aspx?id=1388 I am sorry I will never get to ride this because I don't see myself making it Busch Gardens before it closes.
  15. My last ride on AE the ride op looked like he was about to fall asleep and was spitting out stats like "Adventure Express has a top speed of 13.5 miles per hour." Nobody else in my party noticed. I thought he was playing around but another guest said something to him about not making the ride sound very fun.
  16. I would have liked Top Gun to have become Afterburn but as far as the other names go I don't really care.
  17. I was there about 5 years ago. It is an awesome place. We did not get to cover the whole area before our tour was leaving so hopefully someday I can go back.
  18. I used that last year for sound effects during Trick or Treat. I was hoping someone would recognize it but no one did.
  19. I am looking forward to viewing this when I get home. I have tried the site from work where we are running some ancient version of Interenet Explorer (version 5 I think) and it does not display correctly at all.
  20. I love The Beast, but I have to say the rides really seem to vary on it. Sometimes it feels way faster than others and even sitting in a middle or front row seat in a car, it feels bumpier sometimes more than others. I don't get to KI as much as a lot of you but I did make two trips in one week recently and Beast rode great the first trip and very disapointing the second (both rough and slow). Does time of day have anything to do with it? To me it seems to run better latter in the day. Night rides always rock, but so much when they don't have all those lights on.
  21. its called trim brakes O:) lol Not the part I'm referring to. I don't remember exactly where, but one of the hills after the hammerhead seems really rough. (or maybe there is a trim at the place I'm thinking of - I'm curious now, and I'll have to check next time!) I know where you are talking about. There is a little shake at the bottom of the hill coming out of the hammerhead right befor you go back up the next hill where the trim brake is at.
