^Well, @IndyGuy4KI 's off season and time out of the park just got more boring.

As someone who's spent over 100 days with nurses around, you're preaching to the choir on RN pay.

Maybe employ nurses in the Diamondback and MT stations like rough coasters of old used to do, only this time for protein spills and hangovers.

So I bought myself a new platinum pass this year as my previous card was having a hard time scanning within the last few years. What time does pass processing open?

If that building fails again, I vote for fountain ERT for the Diamondback plaza.

I can't re-find where I saw this, but apparently large sections of Shivering Timbers got retracked this off season.

I initially saw rain later in the day. Carry on. Also, weather forecasts are only really accurate within a few days.

Though early, the weather looks kinda mixed for the 15th. Preview day looks a bit better.

Also, could we give Skyflyer its original lighting package back? Anyone who went to the park when it was new knows what I'm talking about.

I actually wouldn't mind a looping ship or a Larson Looper either.

Also doesn't help that FOF's trains are cumbersome to load and unload, especially with the awkward seatbelt.

There's no way FOF has 6 block sections. I have the newspaper announcement article where it states it had a theoretical capacity of over 2K/hr, which we all know isn't practical. I count 3 (1- main station to MCBR, 2- MCBR to unload station, 3- unload station-main station), FOF tends to often stop on the MCBR due to slow unloading in the 2nd station, so that pair of brakes before the unload station isn't a block from what I'm told. Also, the train behind has to wait until the train gets to just past the sidewinder inversion (the highest point in the ride) in order to get into the loading station due to potential rollbacks which takes time. I can't think of a launch coaster that ever had great capacity TBH.

I consider B&M to be Anton Schwarzkopf's direct successor. They expand on a lot of design lines that Anton started to work with in their track work. Intamin is, too, but B&M got Anton's reliability down over Intamin. Arrow once had a concept for an inverted wild mouse with inversions which they called the ArrowBATic. It expanded on their suspended coasters' problem of not being able to do inversions, but obviously, B&M beat them to the chase, and overall completely outplayed Arrow in the 90s. Drachen Fire was kind of that sign as Busch Gardens wanted a pair of B&M's for Tampa and Williamsburg. B&M, being young at the time, couldn't pull off both and they went to Arrow for Drachen Fire and wanted Arrow to basically design their own version of Kumba, which, failed spectacularly. X at SFMM was the nail in the coffin for Arrow. silver2005, a big fan of the story of Arrow Dynamics.

Uh...Cedar Point's theming isn't much to write home about either.

As someone who's been visiting the website frequently due to me going there in July, its not a thing. Pssst- yesterday was April 1.

So there are 2 coasters I've been watching as part of my trip that seemed kind of iffy as to their opening. First is KD's Grizzly's retrack. It appears its gonna be open when I get there, but it looks close given the scale of the retrack. The other is RMC Wildcat at HP. That looks to have a ways to go including not even having the lift up yet, and HP has been hinting a late summer opening, so that seems more of a coin flip. May give me an excuse to try and do Springtime at the Park next year.

I'm not a fan of CF's Wild Mice operations. They don't allow Wild Mice to be loaded in motion and at the parks that do have them, they are easily among the longest lines in the park, even at smaller parks like MIA.

I won't be going for Coasterstock, but I will likely be there hanging out with KICers between events.

^I wanna say it was 2014 when plus was first implemented. Feels right with Banshee being new and I remember that was when it was kind of prominently promoted when Plus was first there.

Got everything booked finally. Went with the hotels I stayed in last time for Muskegon and Port Clinton. Taking a slight risk on supposedly a lesser rated hotel in Wiliamsburg, but its cheap, and staying near the bad hotel I went with in Allentown, but definitely not the same one (mainly because of GREAT breakfast options). If any of you do a PA centered trip in the future, Allentown is a great central hub for the parks nearby. Unfortunately, BGW only does single day tickets that are date specific, so I'm waiting until right before that trip to get that so I can plan around weather. Got a cheap HP ticket as they have a sale through March 31st where single day tickets are $50. Got Platinum to cover CP, MIA, DP, and KD. And if you all are counting, this summer has me going to 10 parks, easily my most ambitious summer I've put together. Also planning on a KK day trip as well. With the budget, I'm limiting myself to 3 FL visits to KI. Bring on summer! EDIT: Also also, upon further credit counting, assuming everything is open, I will make it up to 150 credits at HP with the way things are planned. I will also get to my 100th steel credit at KD.

I'm a smaller guy and I fit in the sweet spot where it's difficult not to get stapled on the B&M vest restraints, so my Valravn rides have been air-less sans a little bit on the 2 drops in the back. I'm hoping Griffon remedies that when I go this summer.
