  1. Well duh, you have to use coded language and you have to provide a calligraphy pen. Showing up as someone who runs a park/coaster fan site is doomed for failure.
  2. ^^Another aspect of Orion I like over DB is how the 2nd and 3rd hills combined height and steepness make you lose sight of the horizon, which are nice disorienting moments along with the weightlessness thrown in for good measure. I wish Orion had more lower elements with quicker transitions while its still doing 80+ mph to let it use that speed a bit more and was a tad longer, which is why I prefer MF and Fury to Orion as well. Fury has some really quick hills and s-curves after the first overbank and MF has some nice drawn out parts where you skim the ground through the trees at high speed.
  3. ^Which is only 1 ft taller and 300 ft longer and otherwise a clone of Jersey Devil at NJFTP.
  4. So I will likely be scheduling a IB day trip next year to get the Schwarzkopf at this point. Also, any downtown Cleveland tips are welcome.
  5. I flat out like DB over Orion, feels a bit more aggressive.
  6. So apparently there are employees telling guests at IB that the Schwarzkopf will be open by the end of the month, still have my doubts as there are no trains in sight as well as a lot of other work needing completion like the station. I wonder if they're going to pull a SDL and put new trains on it. Gerstlauer made those trains and they're decent. Crossing my fingers but not hopeful.
  7. Not the first time a Vekoma Boomerang has been tricked out. HP took a page from Walibi Holland. I give you- Speed of Sound. https://rcdb.com/773.htm
  8. @malem didn't you find out about that thing on one of our last trips together? I forget what it is, but I think its for Haunt.
  9. I have had perfectly fine Banshee rides all season in all 3 trains.
  10. The only Skyline locations are on I-Street on the corner by the entrance and Coney Mall near Scrambler.
  11. Crap, I've been tired from work lately and I wanted to at least be in Action Zone to hear Take My Breath Away live. Blah.
  12. I'm going 10, 1. Vortex 2. Tomb Raider: The Ride (not Crypt, TRTR had an amazing ride program) 3. Phantom Theater 4. Skylab 5. Original Tiques 6. Flying Eagles 7. KCKC 8. Firehawk 9. King Cobra 10. Parking Lot Trams Honorable mention- Original fountain ERT
  13. ^Glad to see a fellow SDL lover in these forums. I also love Comet. Superb ride everytime I've been on it, and its a gorgeous older wooden coaster (with a giant yellow eyesore above it, I think Skyrush is very overrated).
  14. I will say that the back end of the park REALLY needs something new as it does get pretty dead, even with Laff Trak being new-ish, plus there isn't a lot of room back there to add anything that big (Lightning Racer takes up a TON of space). I'd also argue that a 2nd entrance should be back there, too.
  15. I'm actually really sad about this. I like Wildcat in its current form and I thought the Millennium Flyers were really making it run well. I'm annoyed I can't get back in time for a last ride as a woodie. Also, this is THE original GCI, another knock from me against RMCing it.
  16. Don't mind me, just here getting over a heart attack from the prospect of Bat leaving. A Bat removal would be more painful to me than Vortex. Bat was the coaster that started my journey into being an enthusiast in the first place.
  17. The 2 B&Ms are a coin flip. Flight Deck has more of an upside for a potential new home as inverts are popular no matter what, its just a matter of age. Patriot is even more of a coin flip.
  18. I'd say at minimum- Demon, Grizzly, and Gold Striker are toast.
  19. CF sucks at operating Wild Mice. This would be a nightmare on capacity at CP.
  20. World's biggest Skyline confirmed.
  21. I also want to add that while the towers are gone, the thing that locked the capsule down is still there.
  22. I went yesterday, and unless KI found the best construction crew available to get the towers up overnight, Sling Shot is still gonzo.
  23. Guys, we've been riding coasters wrong the whole time. We must ride with our eyes open according to a few boys I rode with on Orion.
