It was dead today, everything was pretty much a walk on. DT was closed most of the day, open later when the winds calmed, the same with Invertigo. I know Firehawk kept going down. My girlfriend wanted to ride it. Finally on our way out around 6:30 we were able to get on.

I noticed that also today, I'm not complaining, it was fun. lol

I finally got up to the park this year today. Got my gold pass for next year. Today was a great day, warm weather and no crowd. My girlfriend and I where there for 5 1/2 hours and rode Diamondback-6, The Beast-1, Vortex-1, Firehawk-1, The Racer-1, Adventure Express-1, BLST-1, and some other flats. I can't wait until next year, I will be up more often with the pass next year. Hope to finally meet some other people from here up at the park next year. Oh yeah I met Gary Coleman today, I talked with him briefly on DB. He said he will ride his 4,000th ride next Saturday. Really nice guy.

I will be going to the park on the 24th and getting my pass for next year. This will be my first pass since I 16, I'm now 35. I will finally finish school in May; so I will have a life again. Looks like a lot of days next summer at KI.

I am buying a pair of passes for the girlfriend and I. Can't beat the deal. It will be cheaper than paying $39.99 for a ticket this year and next plus parking. Would total $180. Buy two passes and gold free+ you get a free visit this year $140. This will be the first time I bought a pass in 18 years.

I am getting a pass for next year. Can't beat the deal of $69.99 for a gold pass and free parking. This will be the first time in 18 years I have bought a season pass. :)

Just thought I would give a treat to the other older folks here that remember and grew up in the hey days of Hanna-Barbera A step back in time.

Please forgive me forgive my ignorance, but what is the difference between a dueling wooden coaster and a racing coaster. I was thinking The Racer should be considered a dueling coaster. Right?

I'm just wondering why this topic has not been locked. There is no TOGO anymore, so no possibility of this topic being true. Well unless you have a flux capacitor and you can hit 88 mph!

So since it will be in Coney Mall, where do you think it will be? I wonder what kind of "footprint" a swing would need? Also if it is a Wind Seeker , do you think it would be wise to put it in Coney Mall since it looks a lot like Flight Commander? Or do you think enough time has passed since the Flight Commander accident?

Channel 5 just said it will be in Coney Mall! They also said SOB was being worked on for future possible opening.

Suprised, nothing on screamscape. lol I hope it's a flat ride, but then again something that high and if it's that sky swing; no way I'll ride it.

I would guess that the walls are to enclose the area for a staging or work center for any possible construction being done to SOB, or just to help keep the weather elements out during winter work to the coaster. Just a speculation. Another thought could be is if it is for a haunt then it's good to say SOB is coming down. Why would they do all this work erecting walls and modifying the station for a coaster this is going to reopen?

Friday afternoon? I would guess maybe they went home by then. I take all this as wishful thinking. Until I see some evidence of work such as pics or video. I have to consider this all speculation.

Maybe they're just messing with everyone.

I would say they are clearing the land for a controlled demolition, making sure the structure falls that way to avoid other rides. Just my 2 cents.

I say bring in David Copperfield and let him make SOB disappear.

I would guess and say maybe a covered entrance to PS. Did they metion something in the 5@5 about the Ivy tunnel making a return in some other form?
