I think it's finally time to lock this thread since construction is finished, and Banshee is giving rides.

I had a blast. Rode Banshee 9 times. Rode rows 1,2,4,5,7,8. Best seat is 8-1 or 8-4. The best element is the zero-G into the Batwing. I got lucky for my first invert (full circuit) ride, 1st row. I was glad to see many of you today. To those who missed it; you need to get up there and ride it.

Wasn't it supposed to be in the low 69's and raining today? That is why you can't trust the forecast, especially this far out.

I will have you know I don't post every time Banshee or DT is testing. I spend a lot of my time at work so that's rather impossible It's awesome to see her testing and figure out where she is and such, but if it bugs you that much I won't do it anymore. Spoilsport Edit: the top of Delirium now seems orange-ish as well.... this appears to have changed within the last hour as the image I took last hour didn't appear to look like it does now. I'm not going to bother posting a pic this time though. Y'all know the link, y'all can look for yourselves. *tries to limit the amount of time she spends off topic* Maybe we should make a thread about Delirium? *will search and do that* Sorry, I wasn't directing it at you. Just in general. Seems like every time an update showed up on my app, it was always that "a ride was running". Maybe it came off as a little harsh; and I apologize for that.

Unfortunately I won't be there Opening Day. Since I am going to Media Day and taking off work, I will be working Friday, and taking off work Saturday for my first wedding anniversary.. I love KI, but I love my wife more and will be devoting my energy to celebrating our marriage that weekend. Hope everyone has fun on Friday.

I'm not trying to be a party pooper or negative Nancy, but must we post every time Banshee or another ride is testing? The park opens in a week, so rides will be cycling. I think the multitudes of previous "(insert ride name here) is testing" posts has conveyed the point that the park is ramping up for the operating season.

Is it me, or did Delirium queue get some love?

If my memory serves me well, years ago; kids wouldn't be caught dead wearing black socks with gym shoes. That was something old people were laughed at for doing. Seems to be all the fashion rage with the young now.

I feel like he's going to invent some horrible screaming sound and do it repeatedly on the ride, and call it "Bansheeing".Aside from, of course, the Banshee-like qualities of his voice that he has already demonstrated in his videos. I have a sock and some duct tape to take care of that. Lol

Can we just make this a sticky to the forums? Or a pop up when you access the forums. I mean really? Don and our admins should not have to keep posting this reminder.

I love how people over exaggerate and worry over the simplest things. Devarious is right on. All systems have to be checked. So if something is not right it can be corrected. So what if it breaks. I'd rather an issue come up during testing, and not during a public ride. So go get some chamomile tea and relax. Banshee will be ok.

You may want Media Day, but you may not enter if you don't follow Kings Island's rules or requests. Remember, they don't have to let anybody but the Media in. They are gracious enough to let card holding coaster enthusiasts into Media Day. Just some something to think about.

I highly doubt KI is going to put a smoking area right in front of a new $20+ million ride that want people to ride.
