Hey, Meijer is really nice compared to a store that Paris Hilton thinks sells walls.

My dad heard a radio commercial for Diamondback, and immediately called me to let me know about the t-shirts. I haven't heard radio ads for amusement parks before (of course, I've lived in the state that has great faces AND great places for 2.5 years), I guess it could get word out to a different audience. (i.e., people who don't spend multiple hours a day on KIC)

I really like the banners. They did a nice job blending them in, and making them look non-cheesy. An example of cheesy would be this (click).

I'd love Son of Beast if it were being used as kindling.

Why not? Sure, Disney typically offers very few discounts, but if you can save money, why not do it? As the old saw goes, a penny saved is a penny earned. However, if you buy tickets at some of these places, you run a risk of buying fake tickets. Many vacations have been destroyed for families that way.

It seems to work now.

Thunder Hawk/ThunderHawk/Thunderhawk at Worlds of Fun has the same ones... shudder.

^^^Be warned, TTD tends not to be open for ERT, even when it says it is. And, when it is, it tends to break down. Just ask the attendees of the first TTD Platinum Pass night.

I can attest to the diffuculty for new guests finding The Beast's entrance.

You can MAYBE do all the coasters in that, but then you don't have time to enjoy the park.

I fit in all of the coasters in one day, but it was a relatively quiet day, so your milage may vary. I would have, however, LOVED to spend more time there.

Apparently, Splendid China was quite a good attraction, too. However, nobody ever visited, so it didn't really matter.

I just find it disappointing that Cedar Fair has left SoB in this condition. Timber Wolf (Worlds of Fun) used to be really bad, but they retracked some of it, and it's actually a really good ride now. It went from second-to-last on my list of favorite wood coasters to #2. It's still rough, but it's nowhere near as bad as it used to be.

Having been injured by SoB (and still having back/neck problems to this day, almost 10 months after my visit), I'm not a fan of it at all.
