  1. Just a warning to everyone, this stuff seems to stain really badly. And it doesn't have time to dry if it's raining.
  2. I bet they didn't close the empty restraint, causing a Flight Commander-type incident. Knowing that type of restraint, there's nothing keeping someone from sliding over if the empty seat isn't closed.
  3. From what I've observed, they tend to look longer than they really are. Your mileage may vary, but I haven't had a bad experience yet...
  4. Well, walk by any food stand during lunch or dinnertime and the lines are pretty long. For being so horrible and overpriced and terrible and awful, there sure are a lot of people waiting in line to buy food...
  5. The way that she ended it reminded me of one of those standardized test "Which sentence isn't on-topic?" type questions...
  6. I like that it's not as easy to wash off, but I don't like that it took 20min to dry and I don't like that it takes so much scrubbing to get off. What was wrong with the ink that CP uses?
  7. A 32oz drink at KI is $4.25 including tax. At CP, it's somewhere around $4.50 before adding tax. And I sure saw a lot of people at CP with drinks in their hand...
  8. I just hate the feeling, and I wonder how hard it will be to get off clothes. It took almost 20min to dry when I got one today.
  9. It seems that they've changed the handstamp ink again. I actually think it's much too hard to get off, it almost seems like rubber or something. It's also really thick. An improvement over the 2009 ink, but it actually seems *too* hard to get off, in my opinion, anyway. Glad to see them listening to feedback though.
  10. I think it's for The Beast Challenge. It spells something.
  11. Does anyone know the prices for Rivertown Junction? Thanks.
  12. You know the only thing that annoys me about this show? It's too good for me to call it "Signed, Sealed, Disappointed" like I was originally going to. I haven't seen the whole thing yet, but from what I've seen, I like it.
  13. "But if you imagine that Geauga Lake were still open..."
  14. Yes, they should. I've refilled a KI cup from 1994 before. AFAIK, anything at all can be filled with ice water (even personal water bottles), and any KI cup can be filled with soda, but not ICEE cups.
  15. I saw one of "those" in line for DB, and in one of the parking lots... I mean really, is KI a great place for that kind of thing?
  16. Wow. Elitch Gardens does it again... the attitudes were amazing. The food was equally pleasant. I had chicken nuggets which at best were about the quality of Banquet frozen chicken patties, spongy texture and all. I think the thing that topped off my day was the dangerous loading procedure of The Flying Coaster. If you had loose articles, you had to cross the track and leave your belongings on the other side, which would be fine, except that the cars remain moving during loading. Does anyone else see the HUGE safety issue with having guests cross in front of a moving ride vehicle? I was stunned...
  17. Do the fire effects work on their BLSCs? Not to say we have better theming on every single ride *coughcough*, but we have some...
  18. I think the worst thing I saw was the attitudes of the employees. I was actually made fun of by one employee at Sidewinder because I was riding it by myself. I was literally speechless.
  19. 2006, IIRC. It was SF at the time, I've heard that it improved in the last few years.
  20. Six Flags Elitch Gardens. It was a crowded, cramped, hot mess. The flying coaster had many things in common with going down Niagara Falls in a barrel, Twister II did not seem safe, and Mind Eraser had one of the funniest operational "errors" I've ever seen. The ride ops were throwing the keys TO THE RIDE across the station. Oops! They went over the edge and under the track. They had to call maintenance to come get them.
  21. Nope. I'm not really sure why. They're good though.
  22. What kind of fries are they? The chili cheese fries at Skyline are $5.95 including tax, guess it depends on what you like. I loooooooooove the Skyline ones.
