  1. Nobody is forcing you to buy food and drink at the park. If you're going to complain to employees, guests, your cat, and everyone else within hearing distance about the prices, please don't. Some of us have to put up with this crap all day long.
  2. There's 12, 13, or 14, depending on how you count them... Personally, I count the parks current coasters as: Invertigo Flight Deck Adventure Express Red Racer Blue Racer (they are two seperate rides which can operate independently, so I count them as two) Flight of Fear Vortex The Beast Diamondback Backlot Stunt Coaster Runaway Reptar Great Pumpkin Coaster Woodstock Express Surf Dog (I put this in the same category as, say, Thunder Run at CW)
  3. It's my second favorite steel coaster at the park. I love the line, the queue video is hilarious.
  4. I'm glad that someone had fun today! I spent a few hours in the park, but, by the time I got there, it was already pretty crowded. Still enjoyed a few rides, though!
  5. If you want really creepy, try being in the park when it is mostly empty and thinking you felt something tap on your back in front of the Eiffel Tower. I almost screamed.
  6. I have seen *so* many people bringing in outside food and drink, I didn't even realize until recently that it wasn't actually allowed!
  7. Or, as the intro calls it, the "spray zone". I guess Snoopy sprays on the first 3 rows...
  8. I'd like to know whats taking them so long to put the stucco on the pillars on either side of the arch. It doesn't take that long...
  9. AFAIK, we will refill any year's cup for $1.99, as long as it's a KI or PKI cup.
  10. Yeah, definitely call and ask, they should know.
  11. ACTUALLY... I could think of some creative uses for that! "What's on the plain spaghetti?" HONK "What's the difference between the 32oz and 46oz refillable cups?" HONK "I've been waiting a whole 30sec! You take too long!" HONK
  12. Hahahahaha!!! "What's on the plain spaghetti?"
  13. By the way, is something *supposed* to happen during that awkward darkness when they play Greased Lightning? It seemed like something should have happened, but didn't.
  14. I think the one thing that ESOI had/has over SROI is that ESOI had a concept behind it- school's out, you get a summer job, watch sports (racing), go to a concert, go camping, then school starts again. SROI seems like they tried their hardest to allude to Peanuts, while the target audience probably won't get many of the references. Also, SROI seems more geared toward children, especially in regards to the music selection. I'm kind of disappointed, but it's still a pretty good show.
  15. How would you say the quality of the pins are compared to, say, Disney pins?
  16. There are emergency procedures, including a plan for a tornado, which are posted for associates in every location that I have been in.
  17. At my location, we were told where the shelter nearest to us is (and it is posted on our wall where it is), and we were told to, as long as it is safe for us to, direct guests there.
  18. Maybe Paramount stole the plan because they want to buy the park... *ahem*
  19. AFAIK, they are told where the closest one to their location is. The ones I know of, from hearing about other tornado incidents, are Action Theater and one of the trailers at BLSC (you can see it from the line, it has a tornado shelter sign on the door.
  20. I would guess that they were expecting a call or something? I would expect a call or at least SOME indication of approval if we were suddenly being expected to let guests in our building, sirens or no sirens.
  21. Yeah, I know, which is why I said "any other show", as in any other show that I've seen at the park besides Rock Band Live. If Cedar Fair does still have that rule for other shows, they certainly don't try to let anyone know about it. I've looked everywhere I can think of, and I can't find any particular rule for recording.
  22. And, some people need to hop off the "THE PARK CAN DO NO WRONG" bandwagon.
  23. They don't have "no video recording" posted anywhere or in the spell for any other show, and it is not in the entertainment guide. Obviously it can't be too important, then... I noticed the technical issues too (blue screens, bottom right screen appears to have been dropped at ope point) but it didn't really detract too much from the show IMO.
